Loved the location and Max was brilliant.
Room was all we needed for an overnight stay.

I especially felt very welcomed by the staff. We had had a lot of places we stayed with no contact. The room was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable we had a good nights sleep
The room was clean and maintained however tired. The owners were renovating other rooms while we were there

Once I found it, this older style motel turned out to be very comfortable, with an excellent modern shower. And there is a lot to be said for being able to park right outside the room.
No overhead light in the bedroom - which for someone like myself, who entertains herself with handwork, this is a significant disadvantage. However the Manager told me that there are some rooms available with overhead lights and can be allocated on request.

It was clean and tidy. Very friendly staff and helpful as well. Room was mostly well equipped. Bed was comfortable, I managed a good night's sleep.
There was no basin in the bathroom, had to use the one sink in main kitchenette. Not really a deal breaker, but a separate bathroom basin would have been great.
The loud trucks driving past at night, but again, not a huge issue overall.

The gentleman who checked me in was lovely and gave me all the information I needed. The room was exceptionally clean and a great size with all the amenities I needed for a one night stay.
The only downside was the fact that the room could do with a new mattress as it felt quite worn with not much support left, although for one night it was certainly manageable.
