you can’t complain about the facility since it is a very old building, the mattress is pretty hard 😅

The reception staff (justin,lilly ,monica) all of them are doing great job.If they are there on duty then you dnt have to worry about anything.Check in so smooth. Rooms are very clean. All the staff of bar is too polite (ari). Its my third time staying here.Onething is that its not like other tradional hotels ,in the begining you will find it quiet different.

Historical building with great location, closed to train station, walking distance to metro, can take metro to the airport. Closed to a lot of attractions. Nice food in the restaurant downstairs, we had 3 meals in there during our stay. Nice and helpful staff. Love the stay very much!

Location is very convenient for travelers to wander around the old QD city. Amazing interior if you’re into discovering the historical buildings. Great service from the staff including the Jinns restaurant, great food.

The breakfast was pretty good. Just 30rmb. Was a Chinese interpretation of a ''Full English'' - a tad different to the real thing, but nonetheless pretty good. Staff were excellent. Really helpful and friendly. The room was great. The dining room is remarkable though. The whole building is a converted church, and you get a sense of this in the dining room, with its spacious layout.

It was all pretty good. There was nothing negative enough to warrant complaint.

1. Unlike comments from others, I didn’t feel the receptionists friendly and supportive. To be more clear, they were cold and indifferent. They behaved like they were impatient with my questions. 2. My room was for one person with a single bed. I think the price deserves to be with a small refrigerator but no. The electric water pot was away from the plug-in. I need to put in on my bed to boil water. Plus, the sound of AC was really loud and annoying. 3. The clean service cart stayed in the front of my room for more than 4 hours and no one took care the cart or provided cleaning service.

Location was in the German quarter and was a short walk to the Catholic Church and a 5 minute walk to the metro station. The room was comfy and spacious. There wasn't really a view, but we weren't concerned with that. The breakfast was filling and tasty. Overall, a very good price for everything it involved.

There wasn't much I would recommend, considering the price. I would say that having the other coffee machine setup for breakfast time would be a great addition. We wanted to order a latte with our breakfast, instead of the filtered coffee, but it wasn't ready until around 10am or so. We just sat a little later and then ordered the coffee after we ate.

it was a good time. The location is good, the stuff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast you can buy in the added restaurant has three different versions: American, English and French, included one Anericano.

I hope they can change the carpeted floor soon, because this is really a bit of ugly.

Friendly staff, easy check-in process (as a foreigner), Jinn's restaurant attached to the hostel has delicious food. Close to all the tourist things in Shinan district.

The cold AC setting on the ac controller just stopped working. It wasn't a problem because it was the end of October. The staff were super quick to respond and tried to fix it but it was late at night and it wasn't too big of an issue for me. Make sure to double check that you have both cold and hot ac when you check in.

The hostel is perfectly situated in the centre of Qingdao and the staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The western-style breakfast was tasty and filling. The hostel's café/bar "Jinns" is very nice and they have great food and drinks. It is a great place to relax at the end of the day.

The room and built-in plastic bathroom was somewhat old, however we paid a high price for the room, so that didn't match.

great location. the staff were friendly and welcoming. they have maps at the front desk with walking routes, places to eat and local sites to see. rooms were exactly as shown on the pictures and staff spoke good English. short walking distance from Qingdao railway station and short taxi ride to Qingdao north railway. would stay here again. thanks for great hospitality.
