Super convenient off the Hwy. We were in our way out East. Clean and responsive staff to my request for a late check-in.

Very quiet and wonderful for our dog. Just be sure they know you have one.
Air conditioner requires maintenance because it was loud but we told them and I'm sure it will be resolved.

Lovely, cozy place in a sweet, pretty town. Very comfortable. It smelled a little strongly of cleaning chemicals but it was spotless. Great staff. Will stay here again.

Waking up to the sound of birds chirping. The warm and accommodating welcome. The great (hot) water pressure in the shower.
That I didn't stay longer.

The two large beds were good. There was a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker with free coffee, none of which we used. The TV was on the Shaw satellite service, which was less diverse, naturally heavier on French and also sports content than the Shaw lineup we have in Ontario. The WiFi was okay but spotty at times.
Since it is a family business, the front desk was only open during business hours, so arriving late for one night and leaving early we only got to speak to the proprietor by phone. He left the key and prepaid bill in the unlocked room and in the morning we left the key in the mailbox. Since the door latch was loose and the cheapest kind of pickable lock, the key was almost unnecessary.
Except for a more recent locally sourced MAXX shower stall, the bathroom was the most outdated part of the suite. It was dimly lit, which is welcome during the night and early morning but inadequate for shaving or makeup. The tiny mirror was too high up for short people while the toilet was actually a few centimetres lower than at home, which poses a challenge for older folks, especially when there is no handle on either side to help push oneself up. I could envision an elderly person stuck there trying to push down on the toilet roll which appeared to not be screwed in but rather stuck by glue to the tiles and ripping it off, with no staff to call at night.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and quiet
The white pot light outside was too bright, blackout curtains in the room would be helpful.

The location was very good.
I booked well in advance and was told I got the smallest room, and an adjoining room. We had to keep the T.V on as there was a lot of tapping going on next door for quite a while. There were someones underwear in the dresser drawer, lots of dust along the walls and floor. The chairs to sit on should be replaced as they are so uncomfortable.

Such a convenient location on the West Island, so easy to get to and in a quiet area. Small pets are welcome. Charming and friendly owners on-site, very helpful. The units are very clean and comfortable, good parking too. We will definitely stay there again when we return to the area.
When pressed for a negative, all I can think of is perhaps a choice of a thicker pillow. (We slept well)

We loved the location, the way it’s tucked in a nice residential neighborhood. It was quiet and safe. The room was perfect for our needs. The icing on the cake was we could bring our dog! They charge a one time fee for dogs, not daily like some places, and a reasonable amount.
Roy and Jackie were very friendly and we got to chat a few times. It’s not a party motel like some motels end up being. the grounds are charming and decorated nicely. We walked to the lakeshore and found a little section that not many people were at. There were a few tables to sit at. It’s a gem and I’m so glad I found it!
I can’t really complain. The fan in the bathroom goes on with the light so it can be loud during the night and even when just being in the room. I noticed a slight gap around the front door which could let cold air in during winter.

Loved the neighbourhood property is in. Residential, beautiful homes on beautifully landscaped lots. Rooms are tucked away and private. Property was well maintained and felt homey. Just minutes walk to a handful of shops on the quaint main street. So quiet.

The room had a fresh clean look. Very basic but lovely.
Everything was terrific .

The room heater was exceptionally noisy and kept kicking in throughout the night. For a light sleeper it was very hard to get a good sleep. Every time it kicked in, it woke us up. The only choice was to turn it right down so it did not kick in and then we were cold. Obviously this would not be an issue in the summer months, but it was bad enough that I would not stay here during the cold months.

This is a lovely set of chalet rooms and suites, and Roy and Jackie are great hosts - very helpful. We upgraded to a larger room with a Queen size bed, and a small kitchenette, and it was well worth it. We’re coming back soon for another stay.
