The property is very clean, and has all the amenities as mentioned in the booking, the staff were very friendly and gave us lots of local sightseeing ideas which were worth it.

Very clean and comfortable and owner was extremely gracious and helpful. Room was large, well appointed and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent value for money.

In the setting by the water was lovely and access to swimming was great. There were lots of chairs and lounges to sit around the water and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Sadly it was the hottest day of the summer at 30°C and the rooms have no air conditioning. There were fans provided which offered some relief. The chairs outside the sliding doors on the walkway to enter the room obstructed accessibility when carrying luggage.

The lake was amazing, sandy, shallow, and very warm, what a great swimming spot! Thank you for the complimentary use of a variety of different water craft, it was the highlight for us! We liked that we could park right in front of our room too, and the sliding door was a nice feature which a lot of motels don't have!! The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The matresses were in excellent condition. We found the location perfect. Even though we could slighly hear a bit of the hwy traffic when outside, it was worth it to be close for our other travel plans, and have more time to enjoy the resort. We wish we could have had stayed longer!

Our stay was really good, i dont like saying anything negative because we thoroughly enjoyed our time! The room was clean, shower nice, water hot. I appreciated little things like that the blow dryer was very powerful! The sliding door screen was loose and frayed, but thankfully no bugs came in. It was very very hot in the room as it was extreme heat of 35 degeees out. The provided fans did help a lot! We thought "lakeview" in the ad was misleading. You do have to step outside out of the motel to see a partial glimpse until you walk a short distance and can then see it. It is a beautiful property and the view was pleasant, just different than we thought. We recommend people bringing their own paper coffee filters to get the full enjoyment out of the coffee maker. Our stay was fantastic and we would love to come back to colonial bay resort.
