I was lucky to get an upgrade to a suit on the top floor. Fantastic location, 1 min walk to the T station, and just minutes walk to Newbury St (Sops, Coffee shops and Restaurants). 5-minute walk to the Esplanad (Charles River), and 20 min walk to MIT/Kendall across the river to Cambridge

A very small bathroom. The hotel and rooms need some renovation. Small bed.

The Hotel didn't respect the amount to be paid, that was established by Booking.com Spoke to the Manager, said it would respect it but charge on my credit card was 420 above what was I supposed to pay according to Booking. Claiming now with American Express those charges, but also letting you know the misconduct of the Hotel.

Good location near Newbury street; walking distance to symphony and MFA. Very proactive staff.

On a crazy graduation weekend, the Eliot was a calm oasis. Staff were more than accommodating. I appreciate that we were able to check in early.

Location was perfect. The staff are friendly and professional. the rooms are elegant and very clean. This is the second time we have stayed at The Eliot and absolutely love it’s boutique and cosy feel.

Bathroom very tired, hot water tap did not work in room 902, I reported it but not fixable and sink did not drain. Toilet against wall almost unusable had to sit at an angle but managed the fixture clearly had some installation challenges and the bathroom needs renovating if you are going to charge $500 a night for one person. shower jet very weak and curtain passe. not contemporary. 1950s style. I ate at UNI and was charged $48.00 for 2x2 pieces of sushi(nigra) which was so much more than anywhere in London or at the UCHI chain in Texas where I eat frequently, quality good but prices over the top. A conservative sized meal in the restaurant would have been at least $300 for one person. I paid $100 for 2 selections of nigra (and they were small) a salad and a glass of average sauvignon blanc. I had to go and buy sushi at whole foods to complete my meal which I ate in my room and decided not to bring my friends and colleagues to the dinner I had planned. Which was very disappointing. I also had a very bad experience leaving I was ordering an UBER cost to airport $25 and your doorman ?Andy who said I should go by cab as UBER he said does not get you to the terminal. He was very helpful and helped me to get my luggage into the cab on a busy afternoon Friday April 14th at 1530 the unmetered taxi (?MetroCab) I was told would cost $24.50 by the taxi driver ( from Morocco, he would not take a Credit card, gave me a blank receipt for an unmetered fair and charged me €50 as I only had Euros ( which was $55.00 USD so about $35 add on. Not acceptable but was trapped.

The room was not the room in the photo that I booked. Although, it was clean.

Excellent location, right at the top of Newbury Street. Wonderful staff, super friendly doormen! Especially the one that had great fun with my son, he was a local Boston guy, I'm sorry I didn't catch his name!
