Air/Heat was not working, no variation it was either freezing or too hot 4 people to the room and only three towels. 4 person reservation and only two breakfasts included in our reservation with breakfast included. Parking is extremely high

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location, within easy walking distance of the metro.

Booking.com indicated that there was free WiFi in the hotel (which is why we chose this hotel, but what you do get charged for is access to the internet on a daily basis. This is a deceptive description. Breakfast at $30 plus tax was certainly not good value as it was only buffet style with no option for at least eggs being freshly cooked.

Although my booking said breakfast was free, in the lobby, I was told breakfast was free for only 2 members although we were 5. Finally, they agreed to honour it. Parking overnight is 45$ for a day

Location, cleanliness

Breakfast, double beds were small, although breakfast was included we had to pay for two children. Booking.com did not communicate correct information about including breakfast.

The hotel is amazing. From check in to check out everything was good. The rooms are clean. They cleaned my room daily and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night too

Our room key didn’t work in the garage so we had to walk twice from the garage into the lobby for them to reprogram the key. Not a huge deal but slightly inconvenient!

Filthy towels , I found Pubic hair and boogers on what’s suppose to be clean towels ! elevator was Brocken and had to use service elevator then escalator to reach the lobby , which was horrible ! No staff to help taking luggage from the room .

I have been trying to cancel 3 sets of reservations on booking.com because American Airlines cancelled my flight and no one I mean no one has returned or acknowledged my email they keep charging me even though I cancel on time night I have been trying for 2 days now to cancel this reservations for 2 rooms and no has acknowledged my request. American Airlines canceled my flight and as such I cannot check in because they have been unable to rebook me due to the heavy loads on the flights. It was clean

I've never paid parking at any Marriott but this one had a parking fee that was over $50 for overnight.

The location is great because it has a walkway connecting you to the subway.

I think it is over priced based on what l paid and the room. It could use some refinishing or renovation. The shower clogged and took a while to drain do you are standing in dirt water. The cooling took a while and we need to get someone to take a look. Thermostat had to be brought down to 60 for the room to feel cool. It just doesn’t live up to the Marriott standards that l have been used to. A tour guide told me that next time l should go further inwards to find one that would give more value due to a lot of people who work in the Capital living in Crystal City where the hotel is. I will take that advice and would not return here. Staff was all nice. I have no complaints about them. I just wish it was worth what l paid. BTW no Wi-Fi in the rooms too! Only in the lobby and it cannot connect you to the web only texts like you get on a plane!!!!

The check in process was slow and unprofessional. I spent 20 mins checking in because the lady was distracted. First she didn't find my booking, then couldn't see that I had paid in full. Secondly, a strange guy knocked on my door at midnight asking if he could borrow a glass cup. Begs the question about safety measures in the hotel with keyless elevator access etc
