For the price, it was decent.
The location is perfect! Staff were friendly
Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Sausage and ‘eggs’. Cereal and yogurt, juices were pretty much flavored water.

Have the outside shower but there was dog poop everywhere around it. So we couldn’t use it to shower off with after the beach. Not a deal breaker but .. meh.
There were no towels when we got to the room. We asked front desk but we had to wait an hour or so for the wash load to finish. No pool towels. They seemed pretty stingy with the towels, so definitely take your own.
Worst thing about the hotel was we found three roaches by the AC right when we were about to lay down for
The night. That was a bit cringe, and we immediately started itching lol. We made it through the night though, bed was ok. Nothing special. Hoping we didn’t bring home any friends.
They have a cappuccino maker in the lobby that I was excited about. But it was like
Drinking thick creamer. It was gross.
Over all I guess I have to give it a 5, but only because of location and price…

Toilet didn’t flush properly, sink plugged, clock on microwave started ticking super loud at 3:30 am . Online photos shows hotel looked nice but it’s old and shabby, very misleading . Highly disappointed .

It was loud. I didn’t get the view I paid for. An older hotel. More like an old motel. Breakfast was ok at best.

Well, there was one staff member (short, lighter skinned black man with piercings) who was very welcoming, knowledgeable about (everything) and eager to help
I was very displeased to spend 200 USD for one night for a room labeled "sea view" that did not in fact have a sea view. The facilities were dated, the elevator felt like a Fear Factor challenge to ride and the pool left much to be desired.
If I'd spent 100 USD, wouldn't complain. I'd say "Okay, got my money's worth". Everything else was okay.

It had heated pools and was across the street from the beach
When I turned in the lights this morning I had to kill and flush 2 small roaches and there was one in a coffee cup we had, channels were not all that good and the drains both in the bath tub and the sink were stopped up I fixed the bath tub enough for my kids to take baths but sink idk and the base board and the vent screen looked like they needed to be cleaned better

No hot water. Maintenance man and night staff were unhelpful. Noisy right outside door all night.

i liked the breakfast and the coffee in the breakfast area.
food was okay. the biscuits were a bit hard.
we were in room 212 and the hot water handle in the bathroom leaks.
we told the front desk about it. it still leaked when we left.

Not enough towels in the room, sticky floor, and dirty all around the building. Our shower room was moldy and the bath tub mat was dirty! Won’t return.

Het hotel is mooi gelegen aan zee (wel autoweg tussen hotel en zee). Ruime kamers met goede bedden, badkamer, goede wifi, uitzicht op zee, Goed ontbijt, goed personeel, ruime parkeergelegenheid, hele dag koffie, thee en water. Zwembad met ligstoelen. Eetgelegenheden en supermarkt in de buurt. Nasa-Space Center vanaf het hotel goed te bereiken.
Hotel is gedateerd. En er waren veel vogels.

The room was comfortable and clean. I had a few minor problems at 1st, but maintenance came right away and fixed my issues. Location was perfect. Right next to Kroger's and the convention center. Across the street from the beach. Highly recommend this place.
My water in the shower never got hot. Didn't call to notify the front desk, though. It wasn't that important.

Zimmer relativ sauber, Lage nahe am Strand.
Muss dringend renoviert werden, alles vergammelt. Frühstück ist typisch amerikanisch und übersichtlich. Jeden Abend macht ein riesiger Vogelschwarm höllischen Lärm, morgends genauso. Grund ist der Innenhof mit Pool und Palmen, auf denen sich die Vögel niederlassen.

Across from the beach was the only positive
This was the worst visit I have ever had in Galveston. The room was gross, burn holes in the comforter, but property is no smoking, mildew on everything! There was mildew right behind my head on the wall! Dog barking in the room next to me constantly and the other room was smoking weed all night floating into our room. Elevator was slow and sounded like at any moment you might fall to your death in the thing. The pool was so hot it was unbearable (heated pool in 100 degree weather) not to mention cloudy as all get out, feathers, bugs, and other things floating in it. I informed the front desk staff at the time of arrival, during the visit, and upon checking out was told I could speak with the general management. They were not there at our 10 am check out nor have I heard from them. Gross just gross

The pool could have been cleaner. The beds were hard as a rock. We didn’t have a beachfront room as we paid for but I will say that the early check in made up for it!

Not much I like about this place except for the location as across from the beach.
Where do I start! The aircon was soooooo noisey we had to turn it off at night but then of course we were too hot. The pool hours were supposedly til 10pm but we were kept up until after 11pm on our first night with adults & kids still in there. No servicing of the room each day which was unacceptable given the price I paid for this place. And to boot the water in our shower was cold to luke warm, just as well we were hot from being at the beach & Pleasure Pier! All I can say is thank god we only did 2 nights! Oh and the breakfast room was not big enough for the amount of rooms/people and was pretty average. This was the most expensive place we stayed in on our trip to America & yet it was the worst.

We didn’t even stay the night. We checked out at 10:15 pm and drove all night to get home. Roaches were everywhere. We even bought roach spray after check in and sprayed. When we came back to the room roaches were climbing around on the inside of the door. My granddaughters were crying it was so bad. That’s when we decided to leave. It was awful. When we checked out they wouldn’t even give us a receipt so we would know there were no “extra” charges. Very disappointed.
Unfortunately we picked a bad weekend, no decent rooms were available at a normal price.

The hotels location was great because of the fact that it is located right across from the beach and the staff was friendly as well. The hotel also included breakfast that was as good as most hotels that include breakfast.
The hotel is a little out dated and there was trash randomly scattered in different locations around the property. The elevator was very hot. And, the rooms’ floors were dirty and “icky” for a lack of a better word.

Room was great. Easy to get to. I didn’t get up early enough for the breakfast. Room was nice. The beds were a little hard but that of course personal preference. Pillows were nice and soft and the AC worked amazing!
The elevator was a bit sketchy and was really hot. Bathroom was a bit small but we weren’t in the hotel long to enjoy it. Also the price. I feel $180 a night was a bit steep for this hotel but it was directly across from the beach so I guess it’s expected l.

The room was fine, the reception was fine but the walkway to lifts and general appearance was run down and grubby.
Coffee and tea supplied in reception. There was a popcorn machine but was not working during our stay.
The grounds and lifts were very grubby and some litter. Could have done with a good clean, sweep up and removal of rubbish and litter. Breakfast was disappointing with very low quality ingredients. Toaster did not work. Only fresh thing was the mandarins.
