The area.

It was not clean. The elevator was very dirty. The room was dirty, floors were not mopped, our feet were black from walking on it, there was pet hair everywhere, nothing was dusted or wiped down, the ceiling looked to have moldy spots on it above the window, the bathtub was dirty and badly stained, the sink was not clean. In the morning when the sun shined in the window you could see the white pet hair everywhere. We would not stay here again.

Gentleman at the desk was very nice.

The repairs you have had done are a bit sub par in areas. Example Flooring was not caulked along the tub, you will loose that flooring sooner. The one main issue I have had on my multiple stays is inconsistency of performance of TV's and connection. I talked to Desk and it sounds as if people hooking up game machines is the issue. I'd suggest cross traing cleaning staff to check at clean.

Had a nice breakfast selection. Comfortable bed, but it was hard to set on because it was so high.

The shower and sink water was lukewarm. We expected to have a warmer shower and warmer water to shave with. The one light was missing a lightbulb. The room was poorly lite.

Pool was a bit dirty - hair floating. Our room was really cold but new thermostat was fixed. The remote for first for TV didn't work. the didn't work. Breakfast eggs - I got a piece of plastic. Breakfast was okay.

The inside of the building was newly renovated & was very nice & very clean. The staff was friendly & very helpful. The area is beautiful & felt very safe. Lots of things to do in the area.

We did have an issue with the shower drain not draining properly. We had to ask for a luggage stand that is usually in the room & the glass plate was missing in the microwave. We think it was removed when cleaning & not replaced.

It was pretty average, like that the elevator was nicely located.

It was average. The AC/heater was extremely loud and the bed was hard and lumpy. There was peeling paint and just a grunginess to the hotel.

The price and online pictures/amenities led us to book this hotel a year in advance. We were meeting in Madison for a large event that causes hotels in and around Madison to book full.

Upon arrival the lobby was a disaster. They were replacing carpet and stacked carpet remnants all over the floor making it horribly uneven and unsafe to navigate. I even picked up extra debris that were a major trip hazard while waiting for room keys. We went ahead with our reservation as we were too late to cancel without losing money and couldn't secure another room. When we navigated the construction riddled hotel and arrived at our room we discovered another person's clothes still in the room. The bathroom fan not working. And eventually discovered that the door didn't lock. The only way to secure our room was for us to be in it. Maintenance did fix the lock eventually but we had to wait for them as we couldn't leave the room full of our belongings. The pool area wasn't accessible from inside. You had to exit the hotel to reach it. It was very dusty and dirty. All in all I would not recommend this hotel. The staff was very flippant about our issues. Worse though, the construction was clearly not being carried out in a safe manner at all. It sprawled all thru the hotel, debris wasn't contained, luggage carts with caution tape blocked off some areas but overall the place was a disaster.
