Clean and comfy bed

Guest service never pick up the phone. I have to walk to the front desk asking for the servicenot just once but every time. One front desk is very helpful and I’m very impressed but the other one didn’t, the service standard seem random.

Free parking, bar downstairs, walkable to shops and restaurants in Anchorage. Friendly staff.

Elevator was out of service, room was stinky like chemicals, bed wasn't comfortable, value was not $400 worth.

Walking distance to downtown

Snack kitchen to buy things from was a godsend. Also the ability to get hot water and creamers here to make a cup of tea was also good. The room and bathroom was clean.

There were sharp wooden corners on the bed - both of us ended up hitting shins against the corners of the bed that resulted in large bruises on our legs that lasted for over a week. Management should either put something soft over the corners or a bit extra room to get past them. No kettle in the room - but we were able to get hot water and cups downstairs so we could make tea. Trying to make a cup of tea from a coffee machine is just a non event for us as we do not like "coffee" tasting tea - any water that comes out of a coffee machine has a distinct coffee flavour and is horrible. Management should consider having a couple of kettles available for guests to use who hate the taste of coffee. While the hotel was centrally located to downtown, walking around the area did not feel safe. A homeless person came through the hotel carpark on our last morning calling out profanities. He eventually moved on, but that coupled with walking to some of the local restaurants in the evening made us glad we were only there for 2 nights. The lift was very slow.

booked this room due to the advertisement saying the sofa was a pull out bed. it was not

The big big big room, bathroom, shower and big plushy king bed with lots of fluffy pillows and crisp clean bedding 😉 I really enjoyed the TV selection.

Door lock didn't seem very secure. Unable to open the blinds or window at all for fresh air... The heat system was crazy loud...but not the end of the world.
