Close to the beach

Old & run down. I booked 4 people for a 2 bedroom cottage and you gave me 2 cottages for 8 !!! People. The 2 weren’t even close. I couldn’t put my 2 grand daughters in a separate unit!!!

Empty toiletry dispensers in the shower. Smoke alarm went off just from waater boiling on the stove?? Beds are so thin you can feel the box spring..Took my mattress to the floor. The pictures show beach loungers and umbrellas and there were none...This was VERY dissapointing...we left our beach stuff home just for that reason. Parking is tight and numbers on the ground dont seem to matter. There was 1 spot left when I got back Saturday night luckily...beach shower needs better pressure and a foot wash and maybe someone should blow the sand off the steps leading to the beach.

Location excellent. In the cottage clean.

Equip kitchen better- only 2 forks. Clean the little porch, it was very dirty. Grill looked usable.

The location

This property is in dire need of repairs and updates. The room was filthy, blinds on the windows broken/missing, mattresses old and one had a hole, pillows completely flat, fridge rusted on top and the door, air conditioning unit and ceiling fan caked in dust, stove drawer falling off, tub so dirty it doesn’t come clean, photos painted quite a different story.

I've never stayed at a site where I had to clean before leaving and then be charged a cleaning fee. The top of the refrigerator was nasty dirty & the A.C. was dirty. The sink had rust in it. Beds had sand in them. We couldn't even get into the room without wading through the sand. The steps to the beach weren't accessible by the stairs on the room side as the staff did not bother learning the sand from the steps. The people next door were permitted to check in early without paying extra, yet we couldn't even check in until 4:10 because the key code failed to work. I've stayed in many places, but this, by far, was the worst.

Efficiency was kinda smelly. Everything I brought home has a smell. The steps to the beach were completely covered in sand which made it very very difficult to get back and forth to the beach. Really expected staff to clean them some.

The heater worked well. The cottage is really cute and spacious.

I would have liked a bathtub.

Very clean. The management responded quickly when a fuse blew and so small appliances didn’t work.

No outlets in the bathroom. Had to purchase an extension cord to use hairdryer in front of bedroom mirror.

soap scum in the shower and it’s so outdated… for a little more, you can stay at a way nicer place. I don’t understand why they don’t put some money back into it…

The proximity to the beach is excellent! It was warmed up when we arrived and a light had been left on for us. That made coming in after midnight very easy.

The only issue was that the bathroom sink drain was clogged and did not get repaired until after we left. One parking spot for a two bedroom cottage would be an issue if there had been another couple along with us.

I like it all it’s really nice

I didn’t like how 6 guys are staying in a house beside us with out two kids under 2 and all 6 guys take turns pissing out side my back door and or around the house while be and my family has been staying here
