Apr 2021We were looking for a relaxing family get away to the mountains and we found it! When we pulled up at the bottom of the driveway, we were speechless. The photos are accurate but really can’t capture how impressive the house is both inside and out. It was very clean and well stocked. You only need to bring food and beverages! We spent lots of time around the fire pit, reading and watching movies from the cozy and comfortable furnishings (reclining leather couches/chairs on the main floor and plush couches on the lower level), and playing pool. There were four of us but there was easily enough room for two families as there is a second master bedroom on the lower level and plenty of beds in the upstairs bedrooms. There are decks off of every room with beautiful views. The weather was very cold, so hiking will have to wait for our next visit. However, we did get to explore the town of Ellijay and everyone we met was welcoming and kind. This home is a gem. We’ll be back!

Nov 2022We were a group of (5) 71 yr old women for an annual getaway. We were awed at the property. It was everything advertised and more. The kitchen was stocked with every pot and pan and small appliance you could ever need. The large appliances were beautiful. The laundry room was stocked with detergent and softener with new washer and dryer. The rooms were spacious, the beds extremely comfortable, the sheets were soft and inviting. The lower level was an apartment all by itself with kitchen, etc. The fire pit area was relaxing with swings and chairs. We didn't want to leave. I would recommend this property to anyone. The only complaints were that there were no handrails in the bathrooms to assist senior citizens and there was not a place for soap/shampoo in the lower shower.

There are nice TV's in many rooms with cable. There is a Roku TV on the bottom floor along with a pool table. We were able to relax on Saturday before the big day on Sunday. It is a nice home and we were glad to have a place so close to our wedding venue.

Oct 2022We rented this for my sons wedding. It was perfect for our whole family. The kitchen upstairs was big and allowed us to cook, spread out all of our snacks, and eat together in the open concept. The downstairs was perfect for “the grandmas” with their own kitchen area. All the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The fire pit was used nightly and there was room for all of us to sit and swing together. It was a perfect weekend.

Apr 2021We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect for five people and two dogs. We got plenty of use out of the fire pit and pool table! We had an issue with the oven, but the property contact helped us out right away. 10/10 would recommend!

Jun 2019We loved the house and the location. Hiked to several waterfalls in the area: Fall Branch Falls, Amicalola Falls State Park, and Long Creek Falls. Close enough to Ellijay and Blue Ridge for easy shopping and such. Kids loved having the second kitchen in the basement. Pool table and foosball tables were big hits. House was well stocked with the basics.
Only complaints are these:
1) The water has a lot of sulfur in it! Filtered from the fridge it was fine for drinking, but showers and baths were made unpleasant by the smell.
2) The floors and doors are very loud! Creaking, popping, squeaking... you're guaranteed to wake up as soon as someone on the floor above you gets out of bed.

Dec 2020We had the most wonderful time at this house for Thanksgiving week. Two families of 5 had plenty of room to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities. The kids were well entertained with the game tables and space to play. Adults spent much time on the amazing balcony. We all enjoyed the fire pit and wanderings around the neighborhood.

Aug 2022We had a party of five adults, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Road access was all along paved roads until you get to the gated subdivision. The kitchen had more equipment than any other house we’ve ever rented. Appliances were up-to-date, laundry and dishwashing supplies were ample, more than enough dishes and utensils for everyone, only had to do the dishes twice in a week. Furniture was comfortable and you could barely tell it is a pet friendly house; it was very clean and had no odors. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Apr 2021We had an absolute blast in Ellijay. This property was amazing and had everything we could have needed from kitchen appliances and items, bathroom amenities, to things for the kids to do and be entertained by when we had a couple of rainy days. The whole house generator was a huge plus when the electric went out due to a storm. We didn't even notice except for the 5 seconds prior to it kicking on and taking over. That same storm caused the well pump to be struck by lightening and had us without water for a bit, but Jesse was wonderful in bringing us a trailer with water tank so we could do dishes and flush commodes and bottled water to drink and cook with. Jesse was on top of it and had it fixed as soon as possible. He was 100% responsive to our needs and kept us updated on the situation. Mother nature has a mind of her own, but Jesse was more than accommodating in taking care of our needs while the water was out. We definitely would love to come back and stay in this same cabin as it was convenient to many trails, Ellijay, and Blue Ridge. It was beautiful and peaceful and we want to come back in the fall to check out the apple harvests and do some more hiking! Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Jul 2020We had a couple of minor problems but the point of contact was less than available. BBQ grill needs replacing and had only one working burner. There is not a charcoal back up grill so our party of 9 had to eat in shifts. The smoke alarm started "dying" and kept going off every minute to remind us the battery needed replacing. Called POC and went straight to voice-mail with no voice-mail box set up! Had to rummage through house and finally found only 1 9V battery to replace it and finally got the "warning" to stop after about an hour...so annoying these two issues. The panel on the double oven is so worn down we weren't sure how to operate both. Settled for bottom oven only with no timer. Nonetheless, the house is beautiful so I couldn't take away from that experience. I was really looking forward to the air hockey table and there wasn't one. So overall I say 3.5 stars is fair.

Jan 2022We enjoyed our stay so much .The cabin is huge with lots of space and everything you might think you need is there . We had a Christmas Tree (bonus for us) it was such a wonderful stay . Since we got there every morning and afternoon we saw deers , it was an unforgettable moment for us . The highlight of our trip was the hike to the Amicalola Falls ( you can drive up as well) the view is breath taking . We also enjoyed wine tasting at Engelheim Vineyards , such a nice place . We ended up going to Atalanta Aquarium (80miles but worth it ). The road to the cabin is paved and very beautiful views . Our stay was just unforgettable . Thank you Jessy

Aug 2020This was my husband's 43rd birthday get away. Our family enjoyed the property and the grounds. The cabin was more than spacious. Did find out the downstairs refrigerator wasn't working properly and some of our meat for the bbq was spoiled.check out was at 11am cleaning crew was there at 11:08am lol over enjoyed the experience

Nov 2022This property was one of the best, if not the best. The house had all accomodations you could need. Pots, pans, dishes, small appliances, new large appliances, wood burning fireplace, laundry room with new washer and dryer as well as all the laundry detergent and cleaning items. We have never seen this. The fire pit area was wonderful with swings and chairs. Chairs on all the decks, a gas grill was available as well. We were a group of (5) 71 yr old ladies and we absolutely loved it. We have told many about this property and will consider Ellijay and this property for future trips.
