Die Lage der Unterkunft hat uns gefallen. Das war aber leider schon alles.

Das Interieur war alt und heruntergewohnt. Es gab diverse technische Defekte. In der Dusche hing eine Deckenlampe am Kabel herunter (gefährlich!), der Teppich war dreckig, abends roch es im Zimmer nach Bratfett aus der Küche und an einem Morgen hatten wir gar kein Wasser zum Duschen oder für die Toilette. Das Frühstücksbuffet war eine absolute Enttäuschung, u.a. nur eine Marmeladensorte und diese wie die Butter in Plastik abgepackt. Wir sind zwei Tage früher als geplant abgereist.

Everything about the stay was perfect. The staff is friendly, from front desk all the way to the restuarant. Room was always perfectly cleaned. Everyone went above and beyond, I will definitely be back again! All shuttles were on time, to and fro and my locations.

The hotel is right by the water and offers a fantastic view of the ocean. It's clean and well maintained, with beautiful rooms and great facilities. Breakfast is quite good.

The room was not up to the standard of a suite. It was neat and clean but the ceiling had work done poorly and looked untidy. The room also didn’t have a free standing shower but instead a bath with a shower attached. The continuous water cuts were also not ideal with a 2 month old baby

The room was not suitable for winter. The erratic power supply and inadequate heating made staying indoors quite an ordeal! Service was inconsistent as some of the staff were proactive, but others were unresponsive (e.g. getting the cable TV connection to work or replacing the shower head).

Sehr schönes, stylisches, helles Guesthouse direkt an der Lagune (Leisure Island) in Knysna. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider konnten wir die ganzen Möglichkeiten für Freizeitaktivitäten nicht nutzen, da wir uns noch Knysna selbst ansehen wollten und nur eine Nacht auf unserer Garden Route hier waren. Der Ortskern von Knysna ist rd 7Km entfernt. Entweder man nutzt den angebotenen Shuttleservice oder fährt selbst mit seinem Mietwagen. Abendessen waren wir in Knysna selbst, aber auch in der Unterkunft wird ein Diner angeboten. Muss man aber vorher anmelden und da wir nicht wussten, ob wir es zeitlich schaffen, haben wir uns dagegen entschieden.
