We stopped at Stone Olive on our way to the Eastern Cape and I feel we probably didn't see it or Jeffreys Bay at their best. Despite serious drought conditions (meaning the bath I had been looking forward to after several days on the road was out of use) it rained the evening we were there. We were therefore not able to make use of the pool area either, which looked a little sad but would have been lovely in the sun. The accommodation was very comfortable, a large bathroom and all very clean but it was very quiet and felt a bit like we were the only people there. The location was a bit out of the town, although we did walk to a restaurant on the beach, but there was a huge balcony that I'm sure would be lovely in warmer weather with its view of the sea and the golf course. The host was very pleasant, there to greet us on arrival and departure and to welcome us to breakfast, and the breakfast itself was good with a plentiful cold buffet and lots of hot options.

I can highly recommend the Stone Olive. We were treated like royalty and the breakfast was 10 out of 10. Friendliest owners and staff, cannot wait to return!

in October 2022 booked a 25 sq.m. luxury room with two beds. given a very small room which was not 25 sq. m. and did not have any resembalance to the pictures on Booking.com website or that of the b and b. I could not remember what type of room I had booked and was very disappointed with the room but relied on being given the type of room I had booked. I checked on my return home. limited space in the bedroom area made it difficult for two people. the bathroom door was a flimsy sliding concertina material door because there was not space for a proper door which limited the privacy when using the facilities. the small bathroom had no facilities for hanging towels . it had the only mirror in the unit. booked 3 nights but left after 2 because the room was so poor it spoilt the enjoyment of Jeffrey`s Bay. unfortunately the owners were not around when we left. I have since contacted them and let my views be known.

Beautiful venue, room, excellent breakfast, lovely pool and most fantastic hosts. Janine and her husband is amazing. It felt like home away from home. I will definitely be back.
