It’s seemed very familiar and the location is nice. But the stuff especially in the restaurant an the bar is not really educated for this job. The price for the food and the drinks are very expensive and the quality is not high. Be careful when you check in earlier, I was 1 hour earlier and ask if it’s possible to check in or if I should wait. No problem said the girl from the reception, the room was clean and she took my luggage in the Appartement. Later on I should pay extra 100 Ghana cedis. I trink 2 “Nescafé” and should pay for the second and musst pay 30 cedis for a little bit milk!!! Unbelievable!

I liked the entire staff, environment, rooms, and food as well. Such a homely place to be and enjoy your vacation. I had the best 🎂 birthday experience at Asantewaa Premier Hotel as the manager and staff surprised me with gifts, it was a special moment for me.

The staff are exceptional, if they don’t have the answer they’ll find someone who does. (Patience is a particular star) The food is fresh, the facilities work and the bar area was a particular highlight

room was nice, room service was good to have.
western food wasn’t so good, but traditional food was good. staff kept needing to bring things to the room during the first day which was disruptive as room wasn’t ready for us when we got there.

The hotel was great and adding breakfast was a bonus. They offered breakfast daily, it was very tasty and offered a nice way to start the day.

Breakfast was very nice and the location was clean, clear and felt safe.
Nothing to fault but the bar/restaurant could stay open a little later, ideally until 11pm and serve a limited menu.

Asantewaa Premier is an amazing place to stay in Kumasi. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The staff is very accommodating, professional and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. I love everything Asantewaa Premier has to offer. This is my home away from home. A very warm, clean and friendly environment. I highly recommend Asantewaa Premier.

Breakfast good. Loved that with specific dietary preferences the wonderful kitchen staff accommodated this for me. As I stayed for 3 weeks long sometimes went just outside the hotel to purchase vet cheap breakfast too.
No complaints at all.

The breakfast was adequate. It was a little different every day. The breakfast times were also good. I am not an early riser when on vacation or holiday.

We loved everything about Asantewaa Premier Hotel! The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable.
The grounds were well kept and clean. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. We loved the way we could turn the hot water on in the bathroom and it was immediately available. The king-size bed was firm and very comfortable.
The restaurant and lounge provided delicious local food. Yum! The bar was well stocked with beverages- both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
We really enjoyed the balcony where we could catch a breeze and enjoy our coffee or a glass of wine, while gazing out over the city. It was surreal listening to the sounds of the city and its people.
We will definitely come back as soon as we are able and we certainly will encourage people to book their stay at the Ansantewaa Premier Hotel.
Thank you so much for the best time!
There is absolutely nothing we did not like. It was perfect.

What a find! Asantewaa Premier Guesthouse provides multiple lovely and comfortable places to relax and visit, both outside and in, surrounded by skillfully-executed Asante-inspired artwork and beautiful plants. Attention to the grounds is impeccable; the many varied trees and plants are lush and well-maintained, and there is never a piece of litter anywhere to be seen. All the rooms seem in great condition and attractive, Ghanaian in style rather than today's formulaic and boring hotel rooms that don't give you a clue as to where you are staying. During my week-long visit I was lucky to watch a visiting local artist decorate large garden pots.
I took advantage of the staff's willingness to deliver meals and beverages throughout the property from both the homey restaurant and the chic bar, with particular preference for watching the sun set from the charming upstairs balcony. The restaurant offers pleasant dining areas and a varied menu.
On a few late afternoons I took walks in the neighborhood, appreciating the mixture of old and new that characterizes this area, just off the main Accra-Kumasi road, not too far from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The guesthouse provided convenient airport shuttle service, with Eric, a driver who met me with a sign when I arrived. I really appreciated learning that I could make private arrangements with Eric to drive me during my stay; he not only took me where I requested but came up with some other very interesting suggestions.
The guesthouse's young staff members were always attentive and dependable. Several stood out for being especially hospitable, really reaching out to greet guests with smiles and classic Ghanaian courtesies. Mr. Kofi, the owner, seems to strike a good balance between getting to know his guests and trusting his staff to take good care of them. He was especially helpful to me when I needed a medical visit, going out of his way to take me there himself.
I'm not really "up" on the Kumasi bar scene, so don't know how the Asantewaa's cocktails compare to others in the area. My suspicion is that the guesthouse's clients would be willing to pay a bit more for higher quality mixed drinks than the ones they offer now, if the guesthouse bar chose to go in that direction. I enjoyed a really nice dry red wine.

It was such an excellent and happy stay! The staff were all lovely, from the entrance security and up. They are professional and there whenever you did and even didn't need them. The grounds are cute and pretty! My room was cosy and the shower was nice & hot. The bar area is a delight! The owners are kind and friendly and made me feel welcome! They are from U.K. & Ghana. I usually stay elsewhere but this will now be my go to! Everyone made it feel like a 5 star stay. It's in a very nice residential area and near to the airport. They also have a service to take you to the Airport. I will return and tell others!
Please do improve the breakfast. However, it was eggs and a salad with the sauce on it. Again, the staff were nice and the breakfast room was cosy and calm. I still think it deserves a 9.5!
