The worst property ever
Kids we’re playing on the street just beside our room until 12am, and we could not sleep with the noise.
As we had lots clothes to wash, we explicitly asked if they have a self laundry, not a laundry service in advance, and they answered yes. However, once we arrived they said all they have is a laundry service and they did not know the price. Eventually they charged more than $30.
Further, they lost a part of my bikini I recently bought and made up various stories to make it our fault. They sent us a pic of a dirty shirt which did not even belong to us and said we found this in your room but otherwise we don’t know. I am not sure whose it is and since when it was in our room. I have to buy another one.

This is a spectacularly beautiful Riad. It has been refurbished thoughtfully and tastefully. The staff are all lovely, but a special mention must go to Hanzo (apologies for the spelling). He was so helpful and friendly and always happy to provide advice and directions. If you can book this Riad please do - we loved it.

Let me start by saying it was our first time in this beautiful unique city! this Riyadh was beautiful, and it felt like home, because the owners are two brothers exceptionally welcoming & nice!!!! they made sure every single one of our request or need was met… Very clean! super nice people /staff that kept on asking us if we need anything and if everything with our room was good… we even had laundry to do and they did it for us in the same day on site! we really felt welcome and even when we arrived they send right away people to carry our luggage straight to the Riyadh so we didn’t have to do anything! We were with our three kids and another friend with his kid, and all of us loved our stay!
The breakfast was out of this world! In one word, we truly recommend this Riyadh!
Thank you Dar Yakout :)

Absolutely nothing
The owners are very dishonest individuals who mistreated me and my family. Absolutely avoid this riad at all cost and try the other riads in the Medina.
1.0
The comfort in the room and big bed
-The dishonesty and poor communication of the owner. We were literally left at the parking lot, which is about 15 min uphill walk from the Riad. The owner and staff did not lift a finger to help us out. When I confronted them about it, they turned it against me saying that it was my responsibility to arrange my own transfer to the hotel. I strongly advise people to check other awesome riads with a more hospitable vibe and much better view like Dar Sababa.

Location was great!
There was not AC in the room, although it was mentioned at Booking.com
They had rooms available with AC but insist on charging more for that.

Breakfast was very nice on the lovely terrace.
Noisy a/c and window to the street was also a bit noisy.

Everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the centre of the Medina. The suite was roomy and cool (air conditioning). The ensuite was clean. The hotel is a Dar (equivalent to a B&B) and has a gorgeous terrace, where breakfast is served, overlooking the Spanish Mosque and mountains. I left my money belt upstairs with everything in it. The breakfast lady returned it to us in our room and wouldn’t accept tip
It is difficult to get large luggage anywhere in the Medina. We took backpacks for 2 days and left our big luggage in Tangier. It’s worth it so you can stay in the heart of The Medina

Beautiful rooms, friendly check-in desk, and the best shower we had in all of Morocco. And the breakfast was really delicious!
It is close to the Ras el-ma exit to the medina, which is really convenient when you’re making your walk up to the Spanish mosque for sunset, but I think does result in it being a little noisier than some other locations.

Dar Yakout was such a perfect location for exploring Chefchaouen! It was right in the medina on the edge so it was easy to go exploring or head up to the Spanish mosque for a view. Such a friendly staff and a lovely, clean room! Our host also gave us an amazing recommendation for where to eat -- one of the best meals we had on our stay in Morocco!
It was incredibly loud through the night due to something horrendously loud going through the streets, the mosques calling at very early hours and the stray dogs and cats howling but that was no fault of the riad! The walls/windows might just not be that thick...

The B&B is really nice with a great view of the town and in very close to all main attractions from Chefchouen. The rooms were nice and clean. the breakfast was complete and served at the terrace with great views. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
There are few details to take care of in the room (our shower was broken). The location can be physically challenging for some. Do not bring heavy luggage. There is no access to the hotel by car so you have to walk. Few people will offer to help you with your luggage for an overprice tip.

Great location, right at the Bab that leads up to the Spanish mosque with great sunset. Hot water was good. Friendly staff.
Weak wifi: it didn’t reach to the beds so we had to sit by the room door to catch the signal. The shower hose wasn’t attached to the tap properly (it was a bit old so it was loose), so the water was leaking at the tap, not much water from the shower head.

Great location, large room, interesting decor, pleasant rooftop terrace with Mountain View’s
very close to a mosque and the morning call to prayer was quite loud and woke us up. Bed mattress was too firm for us.
