We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Haj Palace & Spa. It was very beautiful and colourful. The rooms were spacious. The breakfast was delicious - included Moroccan pastries, fresh orange juice and coffee. A lovely way to start the day. The staff were impeccable - extremely helpful and kind. Omar went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable.

The staff were amazing. Particularly Omar and Abdul. Went above and beyond. I was cautious about staying as it's my first time in Africa but Samira responded to messages so quickly on Booking.com. The breakfast was delicious and the Hamman was very relaxing and worth every penny. I also loved the look and feel of the Riad. So colorful. I didn't miss having a TV or any other item. I felt part of a family home. The shower was fantastic, hot and powerful. The Riad while not approachable by car is so well placed in the Medina. Once you know your way it's great but Abdul walked us to and from our taxi. The price was a steal for the time we had. We had an early morning flight and Omar gave us breakfast to take away. He also let us print our boarding cards. Truly grateful. Can't wait to return.
Not fair to complain but the prayers at 4am. It's literally the only thing I wasn't used to but earplugs sorted it.

We had an amazing time at this Riad. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and the room was very comfortable.
The location was right in the medina, the middle of it, making strolling around the media very easy.

The aesthetics, felt very traditional and at the same time modern

The staff was lovely. They sat with us upon arrival to explain how to get around in the medina. Always happy to help and went the extra mile to make the trip perfect for us.
I didn't like the room had no window to the exterior but that's common to most riads to prevent from high temperatures

Loved the atmosphere, decoration, how each room is so unique, the breakfast was great and different every day, there is a rooftop, hammams services, location is super and the staff are the nicest ones!!
The view from the rooftop is not the greatest, the rooms are not soundproof so guests need to be careful with the noise they make. There is no gym

1. Breakfast was good.
2. Staff were sort of helpful.
3. It was cheap compared to other accommodations in the area.
They have stated that they are a 5 star resort on Google and that's a lie. The location or description was not completely honest. We had to walk 15 minutes to the hotel from the gate the driver dropped us off with all our luggage through those really dark alleys. Safety wise, the location was slightly alarming. Another thing was I had booked 3 nights in Fes, 2 rooms. My friend had to leave so we had an extra room for the third night. I left some things there but in the morning, some staff was sleeping there in the room I paid for. It was not their fault as they didn't have a reservation system online to show which rooms were booked and which were not. They did return the money for that night after I voiced my concern.
Our bathroom also did not have any doors, just a curtain. There was a bit of false information here and there from the pictures to the actual accommodation which made us feel slightly deceived.

The coolness of the place. Relaxing
I was stationed in the lower level. I asked for a differenr room and they gave it to me. So double plus on the service. But the lower was a bit noisy

location is ideal to walk to everything, very typical Riad, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly

Really fun, colorful riad in a great location for a good price. The staff is kind and helpful and the breakfast is good.
The water smelled a bit of sulfur. Also be aware the riad will ask you to pay with a card on site even if you selected on booking to pay ahead of time through booking.com. It was a little confusing.

We were immediately greeted by
Mohammad who was extremely helpful, we had arranged to drop off our bags in the morning before our check in. He gave us delicious mint tea, and provided a detailed map of the city with all of the places we wanted to go and how to get there, along with some local tips. He was kind and helpful. The stay was great and they has a great breakfast.
It was all good 😊👍

The location was excellent for visiting the medina.
We stayed in an absolutely beautiful, characterful suite.
The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, especially the wonderful Samira. She organised a guide and various trips out of Fes for us, as well as a hamam treatment. The food at the Riad was excellent too. The breakfasts were particularly generous and delicious, and they varied every day.
Thank you very much!

The staff were incredible and we were so well looked after. Samira and her family are kind, accommodating and genuinely want their guests to have a great stay. Thank you for having us!

The hotel is in medina, and I couldn't find it alone, but its staff always accompanied me to and from the hotel when needed. The room was big enough for one person, and it was clean. The breakfast was extensive and good quality. I would recommend a hammam at the hotel - I went there twice!:) Friendly and supportive staff.
There was a group of students when I stayed, and I could hear them too well, and until late:) But it is a common problem for riads with "a terrace" - the area in the center. The only way is to accept it as an authenticity feature.

The kindness of the staff
A group arrived late and was a bit noisy, but that can happen everywhere.

Good communication with the staff. Samira, Omar, and Mohamed were/are the best! They were the first to contact us prior to the check-in to make sure everything was okay with us. They also help us book activities and transportation, making it easier for us. They were nice, friendly, and respectful at every moment of the stay. The riad was beautiful and colorful. The room was spacious and looked the same as the photos. It was a really morocan riad experience, not a western hotel/stay inn, and that was what we were looking for. It was great. We are grateful.
The bathroom was a little smellie at sometimes, but it wasn't unbearable, neither constant. Fact to know, all riads are very old buildings, so that little smell is some kind of normal.

The receptionist was helpful
Ascending two flights of steep steps to our room was unpleasant and potentially dangerous. Room lighting was exceptionally poor. A location in the Medina sounds romantic but, in reality, it means walking a long passageway past a messy building site. The room was damp.

The food, rooms, service, and spaces were all amazing for the price.
I might prefer a hostel outside the medina because the Fez medina is such a maze.

Great room and nice and prepared staff
Good breakfast and dinner
Worthy hammam
Just to improve some details to be excellent, as to put an ashtray in the entrance and other little things.

I couldn't wish for a better stay..... The location is excellent as the Riad is in the heart of the Medina. Every member of the staff is very helpful, welcoming, professional and kind. A special note for Samira, Omar and Mohamed that made my birthday really special with a surprise birthday celebration, something that I will always treasure.
The food is delicious: both breakfast and dinner include traditional dishes freshly made.
Finally, the Riad itself: the building is so beautiful and so rich in details, if I am going back to Fes I would chose to go back to the Riad Haj Palace.
There is nothing that I didn't like.

The minute we entered the Riad we were amazed. It is such a lovely building and exactly what we were expecting a Riad to look like. The rooms a lovingly decorated and super cozy. Mattresses were also very comfortable. We especially loved the heating in the rooms. I barely met stuff which is so friendly and helping. Omer took very good care of us and gave as excellent information. We had dinner menu once in the Riad. It was plenty of very good food (couscous). There is no question where we would stay if we come back! PS: Breakfast was delicious and every day a bit different.

The staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. It’s a beautiful Riad. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and different every morning.
The place was great and comfortable overall! Only minor point is it would be great if there was a door to the bathroom as opposed to a curtain.

Had a lovely stay in the Riad in the middle of the Medina in Fez. Samira, Mohammed and the rest of the staff were super helpful and welcoming. We arrived by car and once we were there Samira was quick to arrange a pickup from the parking area. Thanks again Mohammed for the pick up and helping us with our luggage. Breakfast was great and we also had a lovely Spa experience. Would highly recommend this Riad for a stay in Fez.
Wi-Fi connection wasn’t the best in the room itself. And you can hear some noise from the common area in the bedroom.

It was an amazing stay! It already started with the great service beforehand. I was in contact with Samira and she was great! She helped me with all my questions, and with my check inn she did a very clear introduction on Fez and the activities and the services the riad offer. Also during the stay Samira was available on WhatsApp, to help with anything!
Abdul was the sweetest, he was waiting me up at the car parking spot, because Fes is a maze. And he assisted with the luggage as well with my early check out. Early checkout with take away breakfast was provided by the staff as well (cannot remember all the names) it was so thoughtful!
The room: Bed was the most comfortable, thick mattress, clean sheets and extra pillows and blankets provided. Airconditioning, able to control warm and cold temperatures! Bathroom and room was super clean, and lovely lighting above the bed. Small desk available, which was useful for planning the rest of my trip.
Hammam Spa: This is also a service they offer. The lady was super kind, hammam with massage was super relaxing, and on top of that you can directly go to the room, to get more relaxed.
Location, 30 seconds from the Main Street, which is very convenient!
Overall, Please Go Go Go Here! The staff and the riad are the Best!

The room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very central location inside the historic part of the city

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered to prepare a take away breakfast for us because of early checkout which was very nice! Location is in the old Medina. Room was clean and they brought tea up to our room at no charge.
Bathroom needs some attention #23 and some paint. Water took a long time to get hot and water pressure was very little. Location is in Old Medina however it is down construction alley ways and closest parking was full of construction as well.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. On our request to have a quite room not on the ground floor he gave us a room upstairs which was humongous! We felt like roayl family, bed with curtains, another room with lounge and nice marrocan bathroom. Hamman spa was just a last pinch of perfection to our stay.
Everything was perfect.

Omar, Mohamed and Samira are wonderful. They committed a lot to give their guests all their Need and contributed to make our stay perfect and in line with local culture. It Is good to see these young guys running a business with such a passion! They were also very comprehensive with us when we had some health issues. Also food was very good and They provide a Wide range of excursions and guided tours.
The Riad Is very beautiful so nothing in particular. Being a traditional riad It Is kind of humid in Winter but anyway good experience for us

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Always able to help.
The riad was nice, good breakfast, nice room, quiet and comfy. Good for family and couple trips.
I would prefer to have a door to separate the toilet and the room and not a curtain.
The location is quite difficult. Despite is in the middle of the medina, you need to walk for small/dark streets to get to the riad.
