Great location at the corner of the Old Town. So, you are not in the middle of the Medina but can reach all important points easily. Absolutely quiet when the doors of the house are closed. And the staff is extraordinary. You feel really welcome, very familiar. They organised a really good guide, taxi and took care that we get to and from the taxi (as they can not enter the Old Town). Amazing hospitality!

Everything! It is a beautifully renovated Riad with only 5 rooms, so privacy is assured. The interior patio is awestriking and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived by car (rental) and they helped us with street parking -which was safe, secured, and vigilated- just a few minutes walk from the Riad. Higly recommended!!

Please book now! Riad Cordoba is simply stunning! A gorgeous place—cool and welcoming, with a lovely terrace overlooking the medina--great for drinks before dinner. And the riad is in a perfect location. But what really makes the place special is Moha. Moha really wants to take care of you and to make sure everything is perfect. Every night, Yusef served delicious meals—the best meals we had in Morocco. We were so spoiled. And Moha arranged everything. All you have to do is ask. He arranged our guide through the medina and for our professional and thoughtful driver Fouad (he drove us to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes one day and the Atlas Mountains the next). He knew where to stop for the best photos. And Fouad arranged for our guide Rashid in Meknes—what a scholar! We learned so much! Thank you, Moha and Yusef for creating such a memorable experience for us. Sincerely, Heidi, Mike, Jane, & Spencer.

Very fascinating Riad near the old Medina. Moha and his team are kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and also had dinner here once for a real Moroccan experience. Definitely recommend it.

a wonderful place. Good location and easy to get all in and around the medina. Moha the host was excellent and proved wonderful tips and helped arranged tours for both days we were there and transport to our next location.

The staying there was fabulous. we enjoyed it a lot.
The suite was marvellous: authentic, romantic and lovely. There is a nice terrace at the Riad.
Also, it is a bit out of old Medina (but it takes about 5-7 minutes by walk to get there), so there are some shops to buy water and cafes to have lunch and dinner even at Ramadan.

The Riad is in a great location on the edge of the Medina but only a couple of minutes walk to the Batha Fountain which is a main Taxi rank. The architecture is fabulous with a highly decorated interior, beautifully furnished and very comfortable rooms. Moha was extremely helpful and welcoming. He met me at the Batha fountain to guide me to Raid. (He provided me with a number to contact him on WhatsApp which made things very easy, which is important for a solo traveller) The cooking is outstanding, both breakfast and dinner were delicious and very generous servings. Hannah their cook is exceptional, creating three course dinners that were alway delicious and different every night. So i didn't need to go looking for somewhere to eat at the end of a long tiring day, which is a real bonus when travelling alone and you don't feel like venturing out in the dark. Moha can help organise guides and book a hammam and Yusuf was wonderful, always helpful and friendly. I was able to get washing done, have a cooking demonstration by Hannah when she was preparing dinner and Yusuf even gets up super early when you have a taxi booked at 4am to help you with your luggage. I would love to come back and stay here again. I'm glad I paid a little extra to have the wonderful experience of staying here. Its better than the photos!!

Amazing hospitality and excellent location - quick walk away from the Batha fountain which is a popular drop off / pick up point. The staff was exceptional - always friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed. I’d stay here again.
Water pressure of the shower was low but the water was hot.

every inch of the riad was stunning and our room was very luxurious! Youssef was very kind to us and very helpful. Mohammed was also great, he gave very good advice that we should have heeded a little more.

We stayed at the Riad Cordoba for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The Riad is beautiful and our suite was large and very comfortable with a good shower and washing facilities. It was lovely to relax on the terrace after sightseeing. The food was excellent! Great breakfasts and the evening meals were delicious, fresh home cooking of wonderful Moroccan dishes and at excellent restaurant standard. We ate at the Riad every night. It was great to return to the Riad after a long day of sightseeing and not have to go out again to eat.
Mohammad is an excellent manager who established good communication before our arrival and arranged everything for us - airport pickup, fantastic day trips and he made sure we were happy and had the best stay possible. Youssef was amazing, such an excellent waiter who worked very hard to make everything perfect. He was always so positive and pleasant that he brightened our day. He speaks very good English and helped us with our many questions.
We would highly recommend a stay at the Riad Cordoba.
can’t fault this Riad

Our host, Mohammed was very nice and helpful, the riad is located 5-10 minutes walk from the main street in the medina, the breakfast was great every time and the room is spacious, beautiful, comfy and tidy.
In January the room can get cold easily, but can be heated with the AC.

We had a lovely stay in Riad Dar Cordoba. Breakfast was delicious. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. They arranged a day trip for us and even provided take away breakfast. Location is perfect. Amazing stay overall!!

This Riad is beautiful and in a great location. It was our favorite part of Fez for sure! The breakfast was lovely and they prepared an (optional) dinner for the New Year holiday that was such a nice surprise and delicious as well. We spent a lot of time in the Riad and loved it. Moha and Yusef were the best hosts!

This Riad felt very old and special--our room was huge with high, decorative ceilings and windows, and the room was beautifully furnished with antiques. It felt like staying in an old castle. The staff was very professional and helpful, especially Youssef, who was attentive and available whenever we needed something. He even woke up early to see us off and gave us a take-away breakfast on our last day. Great staff who really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our visit.
Like many riads, the bedroom windows open directly onto the courtyard (and the other rooms across from you), so it didn't feel especially private unless you had all your windows closed.
The stairs were also pretty steep, so I would caution anyone with mobility issues before booking here.

Beautiful Riad, built in 1367 and renovated recently. The design is incredible. You feel like you're staying in a royal Palace.
The staff! Youssef and Mohamed were incredibly friendly and accommodating. When we arrived my friend was not in the best condition due to stomach issues from the previous locations, and Youssef and Mohamed did everything they could to make us feel better, and the hospitality continued through our stay. This was the best place we stayed at during our entire trip.
The location is top. Just outside the Medina but accessible by car/taxi
The food was incredible and inexpensive. If you're in question about the general food situation in Morocco you can absolutely dine at the hotel and rest assured the food is delicious and all the hygiene standards are met.

The staff make this property shine. Mohamed and Ahmed couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. They were sincere in their desire for us to have an enjoyable stay. The common spaces are very nicely decorated. Also, the riad is located at the edge of the Medina which we really appreciated.
There can be quirks with heritage properties, and this one is no exception. Our room had the shower room at one end and the lavatory at the other. Not the most convenient.
The guide we had for the Medina was organized by Mohamed, but we felt we could have done better. He was knowledgeable enough, but we didn’t appreciate his brusque demeanour and how rushed he made us feel. He was supposed to have been endorsed by the tourist office. Fortunately he was just one bad experience in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Mohammed and his friend were super friendly and had the best hospitality, they helped us arrange a tour guide without need for requesting prior to arrival, gave us tea and orange juice for free and offered us takeaway breakfast on our last day due to our early departure. The rooms were very big and nice and location was very convenient to get to the medina and restaurants - very good value for money!

We stayed 8 days and Mohammed and his sister Hanna are probably the best two people we met in entire Morocco.
Location of Riadh is very nice and close to everything. Breakfast options were just amazing and Mohammed was surprising us with new things every morning.
We scheduled Fes medina guide through Mohammed, that was absolutelly great. Afterwards we did 3 trips around Fes via Mohammed and even driver that took us to Marakech was organized by Mohammed.
It seems to me that if you need a person in Fes to take care of you and to sort all the problems you just need to stay in this place and enjoy your time.

Absolute must stay! Perfect for families and couples staying in Fes, especially if you're spending your days seeing the city. Moha was extremely helpful with any and all questions/requests and I'd definitely suggest planning your day trips or guides through him. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Saying in Riad Dar Cordoba was really one of the highlights of our trip, really great! I have stayed in three Riads in other cities in our trip to Morocco, and Dar Cordoba was by far the best of them in all aspects.
Moha and the team of the road are warm pacient and caring people
We had also the best breakfasts of all our stay in Morocco! That detail will make you start your day in the best way :)
100% recommended!

This is a cosy dar (though not a riad, as indicated in the listing), beautifully ornate and intimate. The rooms are elaborately decorated and tastefully furnished, with very large on-suite living rooms. It feels like a home, which is just what we were looking for. It is located in the old medina but conveniently close to a street accessible by taxis.
Unfortunately this little gem is in the hands of a manager who is unfit for the job. He takes no pride in the property and does not use the care it deserves to maintain it and preserve it, he is pushy in offering paid-for services to guests, instills in them unnecessary fears about the perils of the medina, and is generally untrustworthy. Some specific incidents include:
- overbooking the hotel and mistreating the unlucky guests who were denied the room they had reserved
- not cleaning our rooms (he alleged the cleaning lady had a family emergency but of course, if so, he should have found a temporary replacement)
- deserting the premises such that we could not get back in one evening until the manager of an adjacent hotel rescued us
- leaving wardrobes in both our rooms devoid of hangers (claiming they had been stolen by prior "Chinese" guests) and not furnishing them on request
- hanging clothing lines on the terrace (which was otherwise generally in disrepair)
- not cleaning the breakfast tables
- not serving breakfast before 8am
It is a sad situation and I hope the owner reads this review and seeks a suitable substitute manager promptly. He will soon find his property in utter disrepair otherwise.

The riad courtyard area is so beautifully decorated and so was the room, very traditional. The location is quite unbeatable since it’s in the Medina and walking distance from the blue gate (about 8 minutes) but not too far in the Medina where you are going to get lost at night. Easy street access as well if you come with rolling suitcases. Mohammed was super welcoming and accommodating, an exceptional host. Heater worked well in our room which was helpful for a chilly November night. Breakfast time was flexible and the food was good. We paid for our stay in advance online but had to pay local taxes in cash, so be prepared for that (was about 100 dirham for us).
Bed was a bit older/noisy, but that’s nitpicking.

Mohammad who is taking care of us. Absolutely the value of this riad. We were feeling much warmer to meet Moha in Fes and he is so caring to arrange guide and restaurant as we requested. Full score service and experience. Facility is perfect. Ancient Morocco house right besides old medina. Blue gate is nearby. Easy to find.
