A beautiful place, decorated with love and respect for traditional design. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Radouane helped us return our rental car, giving us a tour of the outer city that we never would have seen. He also connected us with Yassine, a great guide for the medina.
Asmaa’s food was likewise excellent. And when we couldn’t finish our huge portion of couscous Friday night, they happily saved it for our Saturday dinner.
I originally picked this place because I thought we would need parking for a rental car. In the end, we didn’t, but the location was still perfect for exploring the city. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.

This was our favorite riad experience in Morocco. The location is phenomenal, the staff is awesome, breakfast was perfect. We loved our room and the amenities were great for our needs. We would’ve stayed much longer than two nights if our itinerary allowed it. We are looking forward to returning soon and bringing family.

This is a gem of a small Riad! The beautiful center courtyard, where our room faced, is light & airy and filled with amazing mosaics, stunning painted ceilings and intricate plaster reliefs. The staff was delightful and accommodating. Our room was charming, authentic, and spaceous. There is a wonderful roof deck with stunning views - this lovely Riad is a winner!

Very nice Riad. My only draw back was that they did not take credit card for payment. The Riad Proprietor was very helpful in setting up paypal remittance. J

The Riad was very nice and the service was amazing, however, there was a lot of construction goin on behind it and there was a lot of noise and a big mess. During the night there was a lot of noise from dogs barking , cats figh, donkeys and the daily load prayers through the speakers that woke me up everyday around 5;30 in the mornings

Riad Layalina was everything we’d hoped for. Jerome communicated in a timely manner, the Riad was charming and the staff was very accommodating - even preparing breakfast for us at 0645 before leaving. The location is excellent.

I had a lovely stay. This was my second time. Good food and service. They look after me very well and helped to find a good driver to Chefchouen. Love them!

Ridhouan and his family provided one of the nicest stays we've ever had. It was something like being part of the family. We showed up a little late and he had a hot home-cooked dinner waiting for us so that we wouldn't have to go out into an unfamiliar city at night. The Riad was clearly a little slow, but that meant that we got a full service experience. Staying here was like having a rent-an-uncle service. Ridhouan noticed a few issues with our rental car and offered to help get a local guy to fix a tail light at local-friendly prices. The Riad also works with a local guide, Amin, who brought us on a full day tour of the city for a quoted price of 600 Dh (~$60); more than worth it! Between Ridhouan and Amin we got our Covid tests sorted out, paperwork printed, the city explored, and we had a beautiful stay.

Riad Layalina is lovely and serene in the midst of the chaos of the medina. Morocco is still just opening up again after the covid year and i was the only guest. My room was beautiful and overlooked the courtyard. The terrace has incredible views of the city. My hosts treated me very graciously and helped me to navigate the area around the hotel. Kind people and a beautiful property!

The Riad was very helpful organising a taxi pickup and drop off at the station. All the staff were most welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing

Had a great time staying at this riad. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with all our requests, food, directions, tours, shopping - you name it! The space was clean, comfortable and really had the Moroccan charm we were hoping for. It's only steps away from the medina near the car park which made it really easy to find.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the ladies make everything fresh as soon as you're seated. This was by far the best place we stayed in Morocco. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place in a great location with parking. Spotlessly clean. They met us with fruit and tea upon check in. The courtyard and the rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. The restroom is not inside the room, it’s across the hallway. I think it’s supposed to be a private bathroom but not sure as there were people using it when we first arrived. Make sure you make not of where the light switches are if you’re walking around at night, the hallways are very dark but there are switches on every floor and hallway. Great views from the upstairs patios.
We booked a last minute tour through the riad and they were very helpful. The guide was nice, very soft spoken so a bit hard to hear in the loud Medina. Got some history and the usual stops to hear sales pitches but not too much pressure from the vendors. The riad kept our bags after check out and had a taxi to the airport after the tour. Would definitely stay again!

Had a fabulous 2 night stay at Riad Layalina. Very close to the Medina and other main tourist sights. Room itself was lovely, very traditional and the view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful. The service was great, and nothing was too much trouble, highly recommend.

Location is at entrance to big parking area just outside an entrance to the Fes medina. The welcome food and breakfast were delicious. Our suite was very nice. The main common area is beautiful.
Only downsides were some noise from road and parking lot and that the parking lot doesn't provide same ambience as staying inside the walls of old Fes.

This is what we expected Morocco to be. There are 2 hosts, Bilal& Tofik who are like family. They welcome you, ensure you have a great visit. Well located, easy to get to Medina and they have car tours which they arrange. Breakfast is excellent. Facility is older and we'll maintained. Come here for a cultural experience, not a hotel stay. Would definitely go back and the high point of our Morocco travel. Fez is a beautiful city with culture and friendly people and great kiosks and shops and this is close to all that. If you drive this is close to parking. There are 6 rooms ,. 2 rooms with doubles and a private shower and toilet across the hallway. The stairs are steep and the hosts get your luggage up. Clean rooms and well decorated. The common area is beautiful , where your breakfast is served. The food choices are superb and large portions, enough to tide you over a busy morning. Multiple choices to eat at the Medina, with friendly folk at most places all no more than 5 to 10 minutes by walk.

one of the best locations in Fes and from the top floor, views to the countryside and fort ruins. The staff at Layalina are superb. Try to stay for more than 1 night so that you get a sensed of the place.

Nice hotel. Conveniently located... three minute walk and you are in the middle of the medina. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are a little small.

The charm of this Riad is its location: on the rim of the medina, close to the main attractions, but stil with a car park and easy to reach by car.
This beautiful house with comfortable rooms is kept by extremely nice people. It needs some repairs though, for exemple on its splendid roof terrace and other installations : it looks like the french owners do not spend any money on upkeep and investments.

The riad is a good place to be. Management seems less capable to handle large groups however. There was no hot water during my first night at the hotel - I am sure due to many people taking a shower at once - and very early the morning after, the crowd leaving the hotel was extremely loud, even disrespectful at 7 am to other customers. The hotel should establish a policy and communicate the need for quietness so early the day.
The manager was very kind to make me a full breakfast at 5:30 am in the morning on my way to catch the train to Marrakech.
The Riad is also very clean and tastefully decorated.

The hosts/staff of this riad are amazing! They went above and beyond for us. Unfortunately my husband fell ill while we were staying here. It was stressful and scary, but the staff went out for us and got us some medication to help him. On top of that they wouldnt even let us pay for the medicine. They also kept giving us bread and fruit, as that was the only food my husband could stomach. Really appreciated. They also serve breakfast at any time! As opposed to before 10 am as all the other riads. I really appreciate this as sometimes, you want to sleep in and take it easy and being stuck to a schedule sucks. Overall, the riad was great, the rooms for comfortable, but the staff made this riad special for us!
