Got to stay in a Japanese house with modern conveniences in terms of bath/shower/toilet facilities, kitchen, laundry, etc. Close to restaurants/supermarket/convenience stores/shops. Good place to use as a base and explore the Yamanashi Prefecture. Host was super responsive and checking in and out was a breeze.

Everything! Location was perfect, the house was very clean, nicely decorated, bathroom was superb!!!!

Parking space with flexibility (on the same day after checking out, we can still park our car there and walk around the city) Big house and many rooms so this is really good for big group.

No TV, but WiFi was great.

From the monogrammed towels to the ice-cold water in the fridge upon arrival, Goten Tomoe was one of the nicest places I've stayed in for a while. The little touches everywhere that made it feel like home. The bathroom was amazing. The decor gorgeous. And all within walking distance from Fuji Hongū Sengen Taisha Shrine, shops and restaurants. Easy driving to plenty of amazing sites in this area too.

The only thing was the futon was a bit hard for my liking but that's what Japanese people tend to prefer.
