Mar 2022What a great vacation! My husband and I and two of our friends stayed here for two weeks. It is an ideal location since it is very close to the airport. The place is beautiful, the view is fantastic, and the entire group, including the owner, were wonderful to work with in order to ensure that we had everything, and I mean everything, we needed to make our vacation just perfect. We had access to a concierge, a housekeeper, a cook, a massage therapist, even the owner, but most of all a wonderful driver that was available to carry us anywhere, anytime we needed him on a 24-hour notice, sometimes less. This is very important since this place is located on the south end of the island. You will definitely want to book at least a day trip to the north end with him. The owner's team has all the information and access to anything and anyone that you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. There is everything in that villa that you would ever need or think of. Even though there are two floors, each floor is well equipped for cooking, lounging, eating, and relaxing. Even though Covid restrictions are making travel difficult at times, you can rest assured that this team is up-to-date on all that you need and know where to get it and have the means to get you to what you need. This is very comforting in travel today.
We all agreed that we will definitely go back and will stay here again. We hope the same owner and team will be there too.

Ms. Virginia absolutely wowed us on the first night with the food she prepared that we asked her to come back two more times and both times did not disappoint!
The villa is as pictured and is perched up on top of a hill. There is a great breeze all the time that keeps you and the villa cool without having to turn on the AC. Very clean and very comfortable. Will definitely book this again next time we visit the beautiful island of St. Lucia!

Myrna (house manager) was great and always available to help with anything that came up! Jermile and JP (drivers) were great and answered any questions we had about the island and got us to our excursions or any place we needed or wanted to go. Virginia or VoVo (cook) was awesome and cooked great meals! She was always giving me ways to cook food and brought local things for us to try. House was cleaned everyday and they did a great job! Our vacations ran very smoothly with the help of everyone involved!!! Only drawback was the location. Most excursions were about an hour away. Had a great vacation and would definitely come back to this home.

Jun 2017Villa 14 is situated in the resort Castles in Paradise. The name says it all! Villa 14 was truly a Castle in Paradise. The villa is extremely spacious with four bedrooms, all with en-suites and dressing rooms. These are well equipped with lots of wardrobe and cupboard space. It really is a home from home with all amenities and mod cons. The kitchens were fully equipped with every kind of gadget superior crockery, cutlery and dishwasher. There is also a heated swimming pool, which we made good use of! The ocean views from the villa are spectacular from every room and the spacious balconies. (The beach is 5 mins away)
On arrival we were treated to a welcome dinner prepared by a private cook arranged by the owners. We enjoyed the superb food and also thought that was such a lovely thing to do.
I was in a party of 8 and the villa was spacious enough for all of us. My guests from America loved the villa.
The whole complex is gated with security guards so feels very secure. The gardens and landscaping are beautifully laid out and well maintained.
The Airport is only 10 minutes away as is the town of Vieux Fort. It is easily accessible to all the other sights on the island, such as the Sulphur Springs (1 Hr), the capital Castries (1 Hr), Gros Islet (1 ½ Hrs).
I would recommend this villa to anyone visiting St Lucia. I will definitely be back next year and I have a waiting list of people wanting to visit!

The heated pool was so relaxing, the facility well managed and serviced.The cleanliness is comforting, sitting or lying in the breezeway for snoozing, you dont want to leave. The beaches, restaurant, local fruits in abundance was so welcoming. Would definitely go back for a longer time.

Sep 2018This was my family's fifth visit to St Lucia having previously stayed in the all inclusive hotels in the north and south of the island. But we all agreed without exception that this was our very best trip ever - and it was all due to our stay at Villa Sans Souci which is located on the ''Castles in Paradise Estate"! We can't recommend it highly enough - you will want for nothing in the accommodation - every wish and need is catered for to the very highest standard. The villa is spotlessly clean and any practical assistance you may need will be given in minutes from Oma the owner and his staff.
You will need a car (or driver) but it is the perfect location to enjoy what is to us the unspoilt part of St Lucia in the south of the island. Within a ten minute drive there are two supermarkets and a chemist plus a vast choice of local produce to purchase from roadside or market stalls you will pass on your journeys - home grown by local St Lucians - who will happily tell you the best way to cook it! We enjoyed fresh fish, coconut water, watermelons, mangos and plantain and so much more
The meal arranged by villa owner Oma on arrival was superb - Caribbean food at its very best! And the chef is available to cook for you whenever you would wish to arrange it. There are local road side bars and restaurants offering a wide range of snacks and meal - local food to pasta, burgers and chips - everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The owners of Savannes Bar (on the main road outside the estate) invited us to a cooked breakfast of saltfish, bakes and cocotea - just because we mentioned when we were enjoying some Piton's there that we were looking forward to this breakfast treat!

Feb 2018This place was everything it said it was going to be. If you are looking to relax, fall asleep to the ocean breeze and wake to the sun shining on your body then choose the upstairs room. All rooms have a perfect view but second floor bedrooms you can sleep with your balcony door open. Very safe environment and 5 mins to airport, grocery store and even a Dominos pizza that deliver. Bottom floor rooms lead straight to the pool :) Very clean and friendly cooks and cleaners. Beautiful hill top paths for morning walks. Definitely plan on visiting again. It was very windy but sunny when we visited so I loved it.

Apr 2018This is astonishing villa that has it all. It is large and every well kept. Each bedroom opens to a balcony and has great breezes all day long. Whether you are on the first level, second level, or the roof, the views of the Atlantic and the island are breathtaking. The pool is just a few feet from the doors of the villa. The pool is part of a very large patio. The villa is located away from it all and is very peaceful. YOU NEED A CAR or driver. I suggest hiring a driver - the roads are very curvy and few street signs. The drivers are also aggressive.
The owner, Oma, was very helpful and considerate. He also called to check on us. He helped arranged a cook and for transportation. He was great.
I loved everything about this villa and my experience with the owner. I would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation in St. Lucia.

But for true St. Lucia experience, come here! The cook (Virginia) and the manager (Myrna) were very accommodating and everything was terrific.

May 2019The villa was beyond my imagination; the independence awarded due to the many rooms all self contained with their own ensuite.
Having kitchens on both floors would enable 2 complete families to enjoy the area with ease.
The views were tremendous and it was peaceful surroundings.

Jan 2018The villa is located in a beautiful setting and with the pool and hammocks, it provides ample opportunity to relax. The entire villa was well equipped and we were able to cook many meals for our family there. In addition, it was very close to the international airport and the town of Vieux Fort.
The place was as beautiful as it looked in the pictures and I was happy to find a gate that controlled access to the pool as we had younger children in our party.
We enjoyed the beach nearby as well as restaurants and the location also provided ample opportunity to travel to other sites on the island. We would definitely recommend this villa for a nice, relaxing vacation.

Jan 2018The villa is beautiful, just as pictured and the owner extremely accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean, with daily maid service. The only reason I did not give this place five stars is the location. It’s a little far from the center of things which is both a plus and a minus. It helped a lot that we rented cars. We very much enjoyed this stay!

Dec 2017The property and view are just as beautiful as in the pictures. The villa is well-maintained and spotless. Maid service is provided Monday-Friday. When we arrived, the staff person we met was very helpful. She gave us excellent directions to the nearest grocery store and even offered to drive there so we could follow her.
We liked the layout of the villa: each of the two floors has a great room and a kitchen in the middle with a bedroom and an en suite bathroom on each side. It was easy to socialize and easy to have private time as desired. We had a four-year-old with us who could not swim. On each side of the pool area there were cleverly-designed, fifteen-foot gates that we closed when we weren't swimming.
The pool apparently is solar-heated. It was a little cooler than the ocean and a little cooler than we would have liked.

Apr 2017The most relaxing experience I've had in a long time. Immaculate and Luxurious. Definitely a do again! Nothing beats sitting in the hammock looking at the Ocean or watching the Stars from the rooftop deck. Views from every room... just spectacular.

Mar 2018The house is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. Warm, inviting and well equipped. The daily maid service was a nice surprise. The gated community is quiet and safe. We were a group of 4 couples. Everyone was happy with their bedrooms and we had lots of good times playing games at the dining room table or lounging around the pool. Always a nice ocean breeze too. This home is where happy memories are made.

Apr 2018The Castles In Paradise Villa 14 is a beautiful 4 bedroom, each having on bathroom, private pool with an upper deck that provides a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Island itself. I highly recommend this Villa if you desire a peaceful relaxing vacation.

The pictures of this place is awesome but there’s so much more to this place , the beautiful French doors to all the rooms in this house gives you the feelings of being in a very special place , the massive kitchen I fell in love with , being a chef as I am it was like heaven , everything in the kitchen was what I have at home beautiful quality , the fact that you can step out the door and you’re in a beautiful pool was amazing, the scenery from all corners of this property was breathtaking, I can say all these things but it would be so much better to experience this lovely villa for yourself it’s worth the trip , sincerely Owen and Michelle B

Jul 2022Myrna met us at the house upon arrival, welcomed us and gave us a tour of the house and any other important information and stayed in contact with us throughout our stay and made us some delicious banana bread. McDonald, our driver, was very knowledgeable about the island and was a great tour guide. Virginia's meals were delicious and a nice break from having to cook for ourselves. The maid service came in each day and the pool was cleaned daily. They were all polite and courteous. Overall, the staff was awesome!
There were amazing views from almost anywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious and clean. The house is located in the southeastern part of the island which is low key and quiet. To get anywhere you had to have a driver or rent a car. Overall, we loved the house and would stay there again.

We stood on the roof and looked at the beautiful stars, you felt as though you can touch it. The rooms were immaculate, and was inclusive of complete bathrooms in each of the four rooms. There was maid service to clean and wash as necessary. The linen was crisp and clean, the dishes were available for use as well. Additionally l, the pool was maintained at 80 degrees all day. There were some fruit trees that we picked the fruits and eat. It was a great vacation definitely geared for couples and families.We will definitely come back with our children to have this experience!!!!!

Dec 2018My family and I absolutely loved staying at the villa. Oma and Myrna were so attentive to our needs and help make this trip so memorable. They helped with identifying excursions and a driver to get us around town. The driver was one of the highlights of our trip. He not only got us there and back safely but he also provided so much information about the island the towns we would pass by. His name is Ashen so ask for him!
The villa itself is pristine and was so well taken care of. Oma also provides housekeeping at no charge so it felt like we were staying in a hotel without the hotel prices. I highly recommend staying here if you ever come to the island. The area is so quiet and safe and the people are amazing!

I have rented 6 homes on VRBO for one week rentals since the start of the pandemic and all of the homes have been multimillion dollar homes on the beach (walkout to sand) in the US. Although not on the beach, this house and the entire experience was comparable. I will definitely rent again.

Apr 2022A beautiful villa with views of ocean and hill sides. Layout is perfect with all rooms opening to veranda or balcony. Pool is clean and wonderful. Hammocks sway with the constant breeze. We enjoyed the location because it offered seclusion and peace, as well as accessibility to the beauty and activities of the southern and middle parts of the island. We took a wonderful day trip to the north and were happy to return to our retreat! Extremely accessible to the airport!
The hospitality provided by the property manager, owner and support was beyond five stars! We enjoyed the near-daily service from housekeeping, delicious meals prepared by Virginia, concierge service from Myrna, and transportation and guidance from Miles.
The property owner, Oma, is responsive and helpful!
