Apr 2016We recently stayed at this property and found it to be spotless. Well equipped with easy access to the beach. We made a mistake in our planning by a day and the owners/managers were extremely gracious in accommodating. This is a very good location with easy access for some day trips into Charleston and surrounding communities. We recommend this property.

Feb 2021We had a great time! Beautiful location just two minutes from the beach. Very quiet and clean stay. We had another couple join us for one weekend and were comfortable on the pull out. Thank you for having us :)

Dec 2021This is a very nice condo in an excellent location for beach access. Condo is neat and clean with a super comfortable bed and cute little deck
I would have given five stars, but the condo is lacking in a few things. The bedroom absolutely needs a chair or stool - there is no where to sit to put on your shoes. The bed doesn’t work because it’s so high. My husband has Parkinson’s Disease and this was a definite issue for him
This might only apply to us, but grab bars in the bathroom are highly recommended.
It got very chilly while we were there snd there were no blankets for the bed. A nice touch would be some blankets/throws in the living room for TV viewing
There are no placemats or napkins which would be nice. We took out the trash only to find out there were no trash bags!!!
Just a little more thoughtfulness as to guests needs would be appreciated

Sep 2021The property appeared cosmetically nice but has an infestation with roaches. During our 5 day stay we saw over 10 roaches, particularly in the bathroom. This condo needs to be completely remodeled (I.e. bathroom gutted) to get rid of the roaches.

Jul 2016The place was much older than what the pictures showed. The closets and corners of most of the rooms were dirty upon our arrival and the deck was unfortunately almost unusable. It was covered in spider webs and mold, bad enough to where our kids would not even go out there. Lastly the sofa bed mattress is barely a mattress at all. It needs to be replaced asap, my kids actually preferred to sleep on the floor because the springs were hurting their backs. I know most of this is not the owners fault but it really needs some work before we would book here again.

The location to the beach was perfect for our love of the beach. The rental was clean and had just about everything we needed. The one thing that would have made the stay perfect would have been a more comfortable bed - much too soft. Aker Ellis delivered everything they promised and were very professional to work with.The bike gear was such a nice addition to the rental. It was used daily - delivered before we arrived at the rental which was a nice surprise. Could not have asked for anything better.

Overall, our stay excellent. The only complaint is there were no beach towels. We, like many visitors are traveling from out of state and should not have to pack bulky towels when other linens are included.

Unlike some condos, this property had some storage areas with personal cleaning and maintenance items that weren’t organized and just looked junky and made it feel dirty and unkept. There also was a vanity door off that needs fixed. I’d still give the property a 4*. The location is great. Short Walk to beach and close to biking paths. I’d rent again.

The problem was resolved the next morning with the visit from the appliance repairman. Our experience with Akers Ellis was very positive from the reservation process to the convenience of the phone app for check in. Congratulations to you and your team for a job well done.

It was great! The apartment was very comfortable for a family of two adults and two kids. Our only suggestion is to change the sofa mattress as it is very springy/uncomfortable other than that we are very happy with our stay and will hopefully do it again next summer. 5 for sure!

Happy with our villa, walk to the beach, a little peek of the ocean from the front and back balconies. All five stars except for the property's general condition, you can tell it's newly renovated as there are leftover building materials under the bed. In my opinion, those should be taken out as they will accumulate dust.

Jul 2022It makes a difference that this condo is so close to the beach; it's just a short stroll, so getting there with a towel and umbrella is no hassle at all. The condo itself had a nice vaulted ceiling and is well maintained.
