- the appartement itself was clean - the shower was very pleasant - they is a washing machine - the kitchen had basic equipment - there is a phenomenal common outdoor pool open till 10pm - there is a quite decent gym with a good range of machines - There is a beautiful Japanese restaurant in the basement, also a good looking Korean restaurant and a 7eleven - the host answered promptly, was flexibel and helpful - check-in/out were very smooth

We were initially placed into apartment 27-10. Even though this was advertised for 4+ people there were only 3 beds and 2 mattresses to be placed on the floor. There were no sheets provided for the extra mattresses and duvet. Then apartment is okay but with no atmosphere. Do not expect more than basic facilities. The interior was dated and for sure more than 25 years old. The chairs had stains, the table was rusty, mattresses and pillows partially dirty. I would rate this apartment 5. Because of the sleeping situation we asked for another apartment. The host was flexibel enough to facilitate this for the next days without any discussion. So we moved to appartement 16-08. Personally I think this has a nicer atmosphere: yellow wall, cleaner table and chairs and bank. We asked for sheets for the extra mattresses and pillows and duvets which was quite difficult to get managed. Eventually, we got extra sheets for the mattresses only. Fortunately, we had some hygiene sleeping bags to help us out. There was also a toilet brush but with no pot/cup/holder to be placed. So it was just leaning against the wall. Towels were provided and clean but have seen Napoleon invaded Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. In conclusion I would rate this apartment 6.5. Because the pool/fitness area and the restaurants were very convincing I give it a 7. Would I come here again ? I presume ‘no’. Also because I think there are cheaper options of better quality. Would I recommend it to others ? Maybe. If you are budget traveller with less than 5 people and you want to have a well located homebase why not. Finally I want to mention that the photos dies not match the reality. For one part because the photos look more appealing than the truth. For another part because the photos suggest that there is one apartment with rooms of different colors and plenty of bed. This is def not the case. I presume there are even more apartment than we have seen.

very satisfied and happy to stay here, the host is also very friendly and kind, welcomed well, very nice apartment and highly recommended for friends who are on holiday to Penang, this place is a good choice and will not be disappointed, household appliances are also very complete, there is a clothes washing machine so you don't have to bother with dirty clothes, the air conditioner is very cold, the heater works very well, very beautiful memories for this holiday, thank you very much MR.
