Everything was beyond anything we could have hoped for !!! Ruthi and Avi were the most wonderful hospitable and generous hosts ever! All the extra homemade goodies shared were amazing and the accommodations were perfectly suited to our needs. We had all the cookware, dishes and utensils needed and the view was great for outside socializing also. Their helpful advice and interactions made us feel at home and like leaving family when our we had to depart. The location was perfect for seeing sites in the north as well as even the coastal areas. We will definitely stay here again if we return and highly recommend to others who come !!! Shalom, blessings, and love ❤️ to you both !!!

This apartment in Tzfat is a gem. It’s modest but has everything you need and extremely clean. Every bedroom has a small full bathroom! It was so nice to have a glass of wine in the back yard with beautiful views of The Sea of Galilee and the town of Tiberias.
Ruthie greeted us and showed us around the place. She was easy to talk to. She answered all of our questions about the area from history to restaurants. If for no other reason, which they are many, stay for Ruthies homemade Israeli breakfast. It was AMAZING!! Thank you for hosting us so last minute Ruthie & Avi.

Haven on Earth
Haven on Earth at the Mahler guesthouse is so close to Heaven on Earth. We stayed for four nights and experienced what true hospitality is. The Mahler's have a gift of it. They are attentive to every need and Ruthi is an amazing cook with great attention to quality as she prepares all her dishes from scratch right down to the juice and cooked coffee. AMAZING! The home is perfect for small groups as we hosted a local couple for dinner one evening that we cooked in our rental's kitchen. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and are very comfortable. The upstairs rooms, complete with small kitchenettes, come with a view from their own balconies. The most beautiful attraction of the villa is the patio area that overlooks the whole Sea of Galilee below. It was our groups favorite gathering place in the evening and morning accompanied by coffee, of course!. Access to the whole surrounding area is easy and local shopping is available as well. We will definitely be returning to this Haven on Earth!

Gorgeous views of the Sea of Galilee, clean, attentive hosts
We stayed with the Mahlers during the week of June 16-23rd 2018. We were a party of 6 ppl. The Mahlers gave us the entire floor that included 4bdrms and a fully equipped kitchen. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was very important to us.
All the rooms even had an extra bed for a child. The rooms were clean and stocked with extra blankets and pillows.
The outdoor patio has great views, has lots of trees and flowers and we loved spending our mornings enjoying the views and the patio.
Both Ruthi and Avi are great, attentive and responsive hots. They replied to all my questions very quickly and were very helpful when we got there with planning certain activities we wanted to do.
One of our luggages arrived they late and the Mahlers went out of their way to help with the issue.
We had their breakfast one of the days we stayed there and it was very delicious, everything was homemade and made from scratch so i highly recommend it!
They even did some of our laundry for us which we greatly appreciated since we were there for two wks and didn't want to bring too much with us.
I highly recommend the Mahlers and Thank you Ruthi and Avi for letting us stay with you and making our experience so enjoyable!!

The Mahler's were very friendly. If you want to visit Galilee--this is the place to stay. It was conveniently located to Tiberius and the Golan Heights. I would definitely stay here again. If you are a large group, I would encourage you to explain your situation to the Mahler's. They can even make more room available for you!

The Mahlers were great. Excellent Place to stay
This place was great. The owners were very friendly and they made us feel at home. This was home to me and my family. The house is big and spacious with free WI-FI. The breakfast was homemade and was delicious. I miss everything about the place. I truly recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel at home in a foreign land.

Best Experience Ever on a Website Like This
Quite simply, this was the best experience that I’ve had using a website to make a home rental.
Ruthi was absolutely amazing. She was extremely easy to communicate with prior to my arrival and she was extremely accommodating that my group was arriving later than we had initially told her.
When we arrived, there was fresh fruit and food waiting for us. We spent our first night talking to Ruthi about what we should do in the area. DO THIS – she is an expert in the area and will be able to provide you extremely beneficial insight.
For the breakfast – this is a must. The only thing that was more delicious than her food was Ruthi herself

Great Food, Great View, and Warm Hospitality
My wife, our two kids, and I stayed with Ruthi and Avi for two nights. On the second night my cousin and her husband joined us. We rented the 3 bedroom apartment which was perfect, we had 2 private bedrooms for the adults and the kids shared the 3rd bedroom. We were able to use the entire downstairs area which had two living rooms, 2 kitchens, and various dining areas. Ruthi provided a welcome basket of fresh fruit with a homemade cake. We picked up a bottle of wine and enjoyed watching the sunset over the Sea of Galilea from the rear deck. It just doesn't get better than that.
The next morning we were treated to a truly fantastic breakfast. Ruthi and Avi combine the best of Israeli and Danish cuisine. The second morning we were expecting leftovers, but Ruthi prepared another lavish breakfast with mostly different dishes which included homemade cheese and jam. Ruthi and Avi were very friendly and hospitable. It was a very comfortable stay and a short drive to Rosh Pina or Sefat. It wasn't really walking distance from anything but we knew that going in. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Can't Say Enough Good Things About the Mahler House!
My two friends and I stayed with Avi and Ruthi for several days and we were overwhelmed with their hospitality. The first night, they helped us plan out our self-guided tour of Galilee, giving great insights and some local advice. In the morning, we were treated with what became our favorite part of each day - BREAKFAST! Ruthi is an outstanding cook, baker and hostess. We never left hungry. The rooms were very clean, private and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace (in the morning and at night) with the spectacular view of Galilee. We simply can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting this region of Israel, which is richly green in early March. The Mahler house, became to us, a must see (and stay) destination in this beautifully historic location.

Guest house with style and warmth
I stayed 3 nights at Mahler house. I cannot say enough about the hospitality. The room was comfortable and clean. There were 15 of us on a Bar Mitzvah adventure. Ruthi is an amazing woman. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. Avi was away so we did not meet him. Ruthi's warmth and kindness is extraordinary. I would certainly stay at Mahler house again. We loved being there. Oh, did I mention, Ruthi's ceramic work is sensational.

Feels like home
Our stay at the Mahler house made our whole vacation to Israel! Avi and Ruthi made us feel so very welcome and were so thoughtful. We are a large family, two parents and seven kids, and there was more than enough room for all of us. The apartment was very clean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking in. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were nice. This is a great central location to use as a base to go out each day and explore the North. Plenty of markets and restaurants close by. Ruthie's breakfast is a must! She is a fantastic cook. We looked at many reviews before booking and we are so glad we chose the Mahler house. I will miss picking fresh mandarins from the tree just outside our door and hearing the birds in the garden outside our window. We look forward to the day we can make it back to Israel. We will definitely stay at the Mahler house again.

Family Reunion
Don't know if you have returned as yet to Rosh Pina, but I returned to California on Sunday.
We had a delightful weekend at the Mahler Guest House starting every morning with an incredible, sumptuous breakfast prepared by Tomer. Tomer was Johnny-on-the-spot with every request we had.
We decided to bring in dinner from Pinah Ohel (?) on erev Shabbat which my daughter picked up in the morning before our exploration of the bird sanctuary where the kids rented bikes and followed a few of us who elected to traverse the park in an electric cart.
Tomer set up the tables on the patio and all thirteen of us plus three guests from Har Halutz joined us for Shabbat dinner. Although it was necessary for us to cut our weekend to two nights, it was very kind and thoughtful for Tomer to permit us to stay at the house until close to dinnertime on Saturday. Every one in the family had a comfortable and delightful weekend,especially my daughter's 16 1/2 year old puppy, Mocha, who was given special permission to be at our family reunion and who was re-energized by chasing a cat or two and who didn't want to leave her grassy seventh heaven spot when it was time to go.
Given a choice of a place to stay in the North, the Mahler Guest House would win with hands down.

Wonderful experience!
My family stayed with Ruthi and Avi for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The location of the guesthouse is central to all of the sites in the galilee and the golan. The view is spectacular and really close to the cute town of rosh pina and sefat. The best part of the stay was the wonderful relationship and conversation with Ruthi and Avi not to mention the incredible breakfast each morning made from scratch by Ruthi! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to not just see Israel, but to truly experience the warmth and culture of Israel.

Best place to stay near Galilee
This past trip was the 3rd time to stay with Avi and Ruthi, and they never disappoint. The breakfast is the best by far, ( Ruthi makes it all from scratch) and it has become the 1st place I reserve when coming to Israel. I had 15 in this last group, and they all enjoyed their stay as well. Thank you Avi and Ruthi for your warm hospitality and this is one of Israel's best kept secrets.

The highlight of two weeks in Israel
We stayed three nights with Ruthi and Avi. The views and meals were exceptional. Each day's breakfast was different with homemade breads, pastries, yogurt and main dishes. It was an unbelievable experience and the highlight of our trip.
I highly recommend them for any sized group within their room options. The owners are well experienced and extremely organized and well prepared. They love what they do and are well versed in the cultures of their land, Europe, Asia and the US.
It is easy to see why so many of their guests are repeat visitors. The location is a perfect tranquil base for travel anywhere in the galilee region. It is less than 2 hours by car from both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and close to any place of interest in the north. Their recommendations of sights to see were perfect.
We will plan any future Israel trip around room availability here. It is that good.

Ohne sich aufzudrängen stehen Ruthi und Avi für alle Fragen zur Verfügung, geben Tipps und sind sehr offen und zugewandt. Wir haben es genossen, am Shabbatabend in den Kreis der Familie und Freunde eingeladen zu sein. Der weite Blick über das Land und den See Genesareth, das stets wechselnde Frühstück mit hausgemachten Spezialitäten, die anregenden Gespräche mit den Gastgebern waren echte Höhepunkte unserer Reise.

Friendly and ideally located
The B and B had tons of space for our two families ( 9 people in all ). It is well situated with a fantastic view of the Kinneret. The Mahler's were wonderful friendly people who really helped us enjoy the area. The breakfasts were superb and different every morning at exactly the time we asked for them. Avi and Ruthie really went out of their way for us, even doing a few loads of laundry for us. Highly recommend a stay there
