The holiday of a lifetime

Everything was made very easy for both check-in and check-out. The apartment was amazing and kept very tidy for our arrival. The location was perfect and the staff were beyond helpful and kind.

Not as expected

We were staying at Pepper Soul and location is perfect for everything.

We booked our accommodation with Holiday Paradise, and everything was fine at the started until we tried to turn on AC as we travelled with 4 kids under 10 years old it wasn't safe as we had a balcony outside so decided to close their door through the balcony and turn on AC. As soon as we turned on the AC, we got black out. Everything went off in the room,kids got scared and cried. We called the property manager, and it wasn't any help. All they said we were not a part of the building and told us to turn on the switchboard ourselves and not to use the high power electrical. We have explained and said it happened a few times when we turned on the AC, not because we overuse it if they could check out. The property manager told us to contact directly with the company we made the booking with. It wasn't their responsibility. We were so disappointed and frustrated as we had so many children with us. Our holidays were ruined from day 1, we contacted the Holidays Paradise Team all they said they will contact the technician to come and have a look if the AC not fixed they will provide us a few fans but all we receive was only 1 fan. We stayed for 4 nights , and nothing has been fixed at all. The room wasn't clean when we arrived there still clothes in the washing machine and dryer. There is rubbish under the sofabed. The couches were dirty and ripped. For me, this is the first and also the last to make a booking with them. I hope the team manager can read through this and approve their services. Thank Chharvy

Great stay. Housekeeping needs to pay a little more attention to what utensils/equipment are in the rooms.

Disappointing. For the price paid- go through the legit Hilton site instead.

Location was close to everything, but not really family friendly. Wouldn’t stay near Caville Ave again.

It smelt awful! So much so I went out and bought diffusers. The source was the rubbish shoot right next door- it permeated the room and the whole floor. Everything was in a pretty dated and old state of affairs. The photos on the website were obviously all from the Hilton rooms- I went through and scrutinised the photos for all the advertised rooms before booking and the room we got did not match the photos. If you really want the location, book through the legit Hilton website instead.

Gold Coast was great room was disgusting.

The location of the hotel as we have stayed there before.

Everything about the condition of the room including the smell and all of the stains on the walls, doors, carpet and furniture. There was mould on the curtains and in the bathrooms. Air con did not work properly, also broken ironing board and iron. no help from H Luxury as I did not report it immediately we only had 2 nights so thought I could report it on Saturday instead of Friday evening when we first arrived (we arrived late in the evening). I would definitely not recommend this company to worst enemies

Rude Hilton staff at concierge desk and front desk staff. Apartment needs facilities replaced or repaired such as coffee

The view

Aircon didn’t work, not enough towels for 11 guests that were paid for, not enough blankets. Coffee machine broken, 4 coffee pods for 10 guests, pillows uncomfortable, unable to use luggage trolleys due to they belonging to the Hilton, could not use toilets within the Hilton check in area as although we were staying at the Hilton, we were staying in the residence apartments so did not have access to the Hilton check in area facilities such as luggage trolleys, toilets. Very dissatisfied as we paid $900 for 1 nights accommodation. Will not be recommending Hilton or booking company again. 🤬

My only complaints would be the room smelt musty, possibly the sofa bed and also of the balcony door was closed there would be whistling from the front door (airflow from lift) but if balcony door slightly ajar it stopped

Not enough cutlery- no teaspoons at all. No wipes to wipe the sink Dining table was dirty on arrival. No small condiments which we normally receive at all accomodation such as little milk, tea bag and sugar sachets.

I would stay there again in a different apartment if it was clean and without cracks on the wall.

I loved the location of the apartment. The views from the balcony was stunning. I liked the closeness of the beach and restaurants, the swimming pool .

I really don't like to pull down the apartment ,but the sliding door in the bedroom was under repair that meant silver stickers all around. Imagine on the the 31st floor on a windy day. The doors were cracking ,whistling wind. I hardly could sleep at night. The bathroom had long cracks on the tiles and the curtain was dirty. The last thing that made me upset was the unused condoms under the couch in the living room.(I dropped my hairband and tried to find it) The price of the apartment wasn't cheap, so I would have loved to have a room at least clean. I was hesitant to give a review ,but kept on asking for it.

Comfortable and good for families

That it is in the heart of surfers, straight out of the apartment we could go anywhere at any time. The 2 bedrooms were great sizes and had everything we needed for our family of 6. It was safe for our toddlers too. The check in and check out process was good.

The apartment wasn't as clean as we would have expected. It felt like the carpet was dirty, the know of the dryer kept falling off, the utensils looked a little dirty, no fan/exhaust in the bathrooms so there were at times smells wafting, noise from outside was still quite loud and for complimentary netflix and wifi. The nextflix kept crashing and the wifi felt unsecure as once my husband joined he was getting alot of spam. Lastly, there has to be a different way to receive the deposit/ pre-authorisation to sending details over screenshots.

Enjoyed the time in Surfers Paradise Super cars event

Received instructions on how to collect the keys, well in advance. Keys were collected from the lockbox near the office. Their office also near to apartment building next door. PIN number received as a text message for the lockbox to collect the keys. Clean and comfortable apartment. Ocean view and city view from balcony and both bedrooms. 2 bedroom apartment including a sofa bed with comfortable living space. A safe, hairdryer, dishwasher, Washing machine and dryer with ironing facilities available inside the apartment. Baby feeding chair and cots were there if needed. Kitchen and cooking facilities are available, Coffee machine available. Woolies near by so milk, tea, sugar and coffee pods can be bought. Spa, pool and gym access available with the apartment. Netflix and free internet available. Easy access to trams, shops and the surfers paradise beach. Rubbish was easy to remove with the rubbish chute on the same level. Easy key return to the same place near the lockbox.

On our last day of the holiday, since 5:30pm afternoon we lost our internet and Netflix connection. Informed the after hours number on the information sheet, but until the next day 8:30am the office reopened, we haven’t received any reply from the office. So no internet, movies or games on the last day until checkout :(

Disappointed -the room doesn’t belong in the Hilton building

I liked the room was located in the Hilton tower so we had access to the facilities.

Soon as we walked inside we were underwhelmed. Furnishings were drab and cheap looking. There was a coffee pod machine with pods but no milk or tea sugar. And the products in the bathrooms are unsanitary! Sharing a huge value bottle of shampoo conditioner and body wash with the many visitors before us was unsettling. And to top it off I still haven’t been refunded my deposit!!!!! $300. Bank has told me it’s up to them.

Never again

Things were close to hotel.

Where do I start! Terrible room! Not looked after at all and not what we paid for. The sofa bed I had requested for the lounge room for my daughter to sleep on was broken and slept on 2 single chairs on the first night. (They did give back money for the first night) and gave me originally 1 fold out bed that was a base and as hard as the floor, till I complained that my daughter that's 17 wouldn't fit on it so they gave an extra one to make it larger and we ended up using the sofa bed mattress to lay over it so it wasn't like sleeping on the floor. Amd because of that left us with no lounge to sit on. Also the main bathroom shower didn't work the whole time we where there as something was broken and they had to order a part in. So paid for 2 bathrooms but everyone had to use ours. The lights on the roof were that thick in dust it wasn't funny, the dish washer door broke and wouldn't close, the bath rooms had mold in the showers and the seals were worn and broken and the carpet was ripped. Not what they advertised at all and not looked after. Would not recommend! Oh and it would some days take 20mins just to get on an elevator.
