Dec 2020We visit Key West several times per year and have stayed in a variety of properties over the years. This place was very well appointed - as four adults sharing a bathroom - this one wins! It was clean, had all of the items one might need for a long visit, and communication with the property manager was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Mar 2016We visit Key West for 10 days every other year for the Key West Literary Seminar in January. .We like to relax, shop, eat really good food and listen to great music. And sleep - which isn't so easy sometimes in a vibrant, rooster-full town like KW. Thankfully, we were able to find La Petite Penthouse, a cozy 2 bedroom condo in the very safe, quiet yet convenient Truman Annex neighborhood.
The condo was well-furnished, with two nice bedrooms and a modern bathroom with good water pressure and plenty of towels, not to mention a W/D. The kitchen was small, so I didn't feel guilty about not cooking, but well equipped for someone more culinary. The outside balcony deck had a great table and chairs for cocktails or coffee.
Shel and the folks at Last Key Realty were super helpful, and we were close to everything. Overall, one of our favorites!

Shel was so helpful in addressing all our needs and went above and beyond to help and make us feel special when we encountered a small problem. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Key West. Shel was so helpful in addressing all our needs and went above and beyond to help and make us feel special when we encountered a small problem. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Key West. May 2016We just spent a week at La Petite Penthouse with our two adult children and it was wonderful. The condo is extremely clean, modern and perfectly located. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to be able to eat in most of our time. Despite the morning rooster crews, the unit is situated beautifully "among the trees" and sitting on the balcony each morning was wonderful. We had a great time. Only thing I wish were a little different is that a stay of 4-5 days could be allowed. The 6 day minimum created a travel difficulty for us, but overall would definitely stay here again if we return to Key West.

May 2022This unit is lovely! Perfect for two couples or a small family. We loved that it was quiet, but close enough to walk to stores, restaurants and sites. For families, the playground and splashpad down the street are great as is the proximity to the beach. If we come back to Key West in the future, we would definitely stay here again.

Oct 2015This property was exactly like it was portrayed - full of light, in the palm trees and overlooking the community pool with large decks in back and in front. Shel at Last Key Realty was a great and attentive contact for us. We were within walking distance to Duval St. and wherever we wanted to go. We would highly recommend it to others as it feels like it is a brand new property and fully equipped.

May 2021This condo is very clean and quiet. Conveniently located within walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars... but far enough away that you don’t hear it once you get home. Property manager, Shel was great and answered any questions we had very quickly. Also very close to the pool which was nice. We would definitely stay again.

Aug 2017This condo is perfect and perfectly located! It is 2 blocks from Duval St and walking distance from restaurants and shops. We drove in from Miami and didn't have to drive again until we left. Caryn at Last Key Realty was fabulous to work with and I am recommending the condo and the realty to friends who want to come to Key West. We will come again.

The location was great in the Truman Annex; Two blocks off of Duval Street. Easy walking to anywhere from this location including Mallory Square. We had an upstairs condo which had two balconies (One in the front and one in the back). Fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Also had a few essentials like cooking spray and spices. Plenty of bath towels; also four beach towels available. Washer/dryer in the condo. Small pool area right outside the back of this condo. We would recommend this condo to others and we hope to return again someday!

Feb 2021This condo conveniently located in the Shipyard is a real gem. It’s close to the action but very serene as it overlooks the pool. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck as well as the wildlife. Lots of chickens and an iguana that was in the tree right off our balcony. It has all of the luxuries of home plus a few surprises. This is truly a very comfortable, clean and well-maintained property. We can’t wait to come back!

We were welcomed by Shel who could not have been lovelier and was full of information on places to go and things to see. It was great to have the pool to sit by when the weather was hot and the apartment was perfectly placed for exploring the island. We’ll definitely return to Le Petite Penthouse when we next visit the Keys :-)

Nov 2015My 2 adult children and I had a wonderful stay at La Petite Penthouse. We were greeted at the property by Shel, who was a fabulous "host" and very attentive to our needs throughout our stay. The property was exactly as pictured, very clean, well maintained and beautifully furnished with many amenities. Everything we needed for the beach was there including beach towels, a small cooler and umbrella. The washer/dryer was especially handy for drying bathing suits and towels. The location was perfect for walking, as we did not have a car, and was easily accessible to many attractions including Duvall St., Mallory Square, Truman House, and Hemingway House. The Butterfly Conservatory was great and we enjoyed a trolly ride and a fabulous snorkeling trip. Blue Heaven is a must for breakfast and only a block away. We loved every minute of our stay and are already planning our next trip back to Key West and La Petite Penthouse.

Dec 2016Loved the condo. Great location. One can walk to the shops and beaches. Thoughtfully appointed, very clean and welcoming. The staff at Last Key both helpful and professional. The Truman Annex provides a welcome oasis close but not too close to the bustle and noise of Duval St.

Jan 2016La Petite Penthouse is a lovely 2nd floor condo in a very quiet gated community on Southard St. It is excellently maintained, has fresh updated decor & flooring, comfortable mattresses, pillows and bedding. Shel Segal, our rental coordinator was on top of our arrival and departure...willing to meet us at the condo at OUR convenience. He was very welcoming, willing to help with any questions and facilitate our enjoyment of the condo & Key West. We loved the downtown location, able to walk to great places to eat & shop. Fort Zachory Taylor State Park is really close (driving in there is preferable) and the beach is gorgeous. Shel had some excellent restaurant suggestions that we used, notably La Creperie French Cafe, Blue Heaven (both a short walk) and Robbie's this awesome local place just off the island. The pool was warm, clean and perfect for the boys. Parking directly in front of door. This was an ideal rental for our small family, it made me smile the whole vacation!

Feb 2016La Petite Penthouse is a beautiful condo in the middle of everything. Two couples stayed there comfortably for the week between Christmas and New Year's. Our guest services coordinator with Last Key Realty, Shel Segel, could not have been more helpful with our accommodations and travel plans both before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Jun 2019I could not be more happier with my choice. I have been to Key West several time staying in hotels and also on cruises. When researching I found that a condo/home was a better valve. Plus with more amenities and a one on one Concierge. Shel was wonderful giving us suggestions on restaurant and activities.
The condo is in a perfect location to the beach, restaurants, Duval, Mallory Square . All are within walking distance. If you are looking for a low key place to watch the sunset. Waterfront park near the condo is lovely place. Also sunsets at Fort Zachary are amazing.
I truly enjoyed my morning greetings from the roosters.
Will definitely be back.

May 2016I can't say enough about our wonderful experience in Key West. This is a PERFECT spot, close to Beaches, Duval and and easy walking or biking. We enjoyed the snorkeling, the great food and going out at night without one problem.
The condo is clean, there is nothing you will need to bring but the cloths on your back! We travel quite frequently and the accruancy of the description could not have been better. The staff was polite and gave wonderful advice and instruction. The cleanliness was what impressed us most.
I would recommend this place to anyone wanting the perfect Key West Vacation.
