Wir sind eine Minnesota-Familie, die seit 1985 Surfside Beach besucht. Diese Einheit ist seit 1989 in der Familie. Unsere Wohnung ist unser "Zuhause" und verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder und ein ausziehbares Schlafsofa. Unsere Wohnung ist nicht "auf der anderen Straßenseite", "Meerblick" oder "zweite Reihe". Wir sind direkt am Atlantik! Jeder Urlaubstag beginnt und endet mit dem beruhigenden Rauschen der Atlantik-Brandung und dem ruhigen Blick auf den blauen Himmel und den goldenen Sand. Der weiche Sand des Surfside Beach ist nur wenige Schritte von der Tür entfernt. Beginnen Sie Ihren Morgen damit, den Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten oder Delfine beim morgendlichen Schwimmen zu beobachten. Wir befinden uns auch nicht in einem "Resort" oder einem überfüllten Hochhaus (das hat Leitungen für den Aufzug); Sie müssen nirgendwohin fahren! Es gibt einen Pool ausschließlich für Gäste und ist nie überfüllt. Entspannen Sie sich auf den Liegestühlen, während die Kinder schwimmen.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, das zweite Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten (auf Anfrage kann ein Kingsize-Bett verwendet werden. Die voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über neue Granit-Arbeitsplatten und umfasst einen großen rostfreien Kühlschrank, einen Herd mit Backofen, einen Geschirrspüler, eine Mikrowelle, einen Toaster und Kleingeräte. Nov 2020We loved the view from the living room and balcony overlooking the ocean. The location on the beach was fantastic. It was also a very short distance to golf/restaurants/shopping. We had a great time at Surfside Beach!

Apr 2013We had a very enjoyable 4 week vacation in this recently redecorated condo in Surfside Beach. Unseasonably cool weather during the first portion of our stay was beyond our control, but when it changed for the better, being right on the beach was worth the wait. Accomodations were first class. Large flat screen TV's in each bedroom, and living room also had a BlueRay player. Would recommend this condo to anyone wanting all the comforts of home with piece and quiet. We enjoyed daily long walks on the quiet beach.The long term neighbours who return to the building year after year were friendly and sociable. This condo will be our first choice for another vacation in Surfside Beach.

Aug 2018We booked Cape Cottages 2 in Surfside, but due to beach restoration, we were lucky enough to get moved to another property in Garden City, the Royal Garden Resort. Overall property was good - right on the beach, large indoor and outdoor pool, ocean front. Had issues with the router/WiFi and the dishwasher that took a couple days and several calls to resolve (WiFi was never resolved, we just used another room’s), but other than that property was as expected and our experience was good

It began with the pictures on the internet for this listing which are very deceiving! The photos made this condo unit seem very large, especially the kitchen, which is not the case at all! When closing the refrigerator door, you have to make sure the freezer door remains closed because it pops open & vice versa.
We paid the additional fee to have the 2 twin beds coverted to a king bed. This wasn't done when we arrived and had to wait an additional 6 hours before this was taken care of (well after dinner time!) The beds are beyond HORRIBLE!! It was like sleeping on concrete slabs the entire time. I don't have back issues, but I do now!! My back has never been so sore!
PSA: South Carolina public pools were open the week of our stay 6/6-6/13!! The pool for our unit (advertised as part of the rental package) was NOT open with only a sign saying pool is closed. I was in contact with the rental office for 2 days about this issue and inquired about a portional reimbursement due to the fact this is false advertising and we rented the unit because of the pool option! We NEVER heard anything back from the rental company or the HOA (which we were told was in control of the pool). On day 3 a new sign was posted on the pool gate referring to its closure because of social distancing/ COVID-19. No contact from anyone, just a posted sign. Our issue with the whole pool situation is that there was no mention of pool closure at all on the website, from the rental company or the owners, but they sure as HELL took our money for it!!
On Day 4 (Wednesday) we returned from the ocean to find the temperature inside our unit to be 78° and rising! It was after hours and we tried 3 different emergency phone numbers including texting & emailing with no response from anyone until the next day when we called again at 10am. Repairmen showed up the next morning (Thursday) but couldn't fix the unit. The AC unit wasn't fixed until early afternoon on day 5 (Friday) so we endured 3 days with no air conditioning!
There were also cockroaches in the unit!!!! Yes, you're reading that right.....cockroaches!!!! They sure as HELL didn't come with us!!!
Overall, EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with our very first VRBO rental experience!

Sep 2019This condo has plenty of space and is beautifully decorated. The ONLY concern we had was the beds. We had to purchase a mattress topper to help with comfortable sleep. All 3 beds are sadly very uncomfortable. Other than that, we loved our stay here.

Apr 2021The condo was very clean & the view of the ocean was beautiful. The water pressure in the shower was amazing!! The only thing that would have been better is if there was a bedroom on the ocean side of the unit. Otherwise, couldn’t have asked for better.

Sep 2022Our family arrived to a dirty condo that had barely been “cleaned”. The surfaces were poorly wiped, crumbs all over the floor, did not appear to be vacuumed or mopped. We have a crawling one year old and do not feel comfortable letting her on the filthy floor…Second night we saw two cockroaches within thirty minutes and knew that we couldn’t stay there. We spent the night packing and trying to find somewhere else to stay. It was extremely uncomfortable and not maintained. The only plus about this place is the view, but i would not recommend if you are looking for somewhere clean to stay with your family.

I was told nobody else had issues but I find that hard to believe due to the amount of bugs!! It was gross and made our stay very uncomfortable.

Jul 2020If you like the pictures then you will not be disappointed when you arrive. This condo is exactly as pictured. We had a great time being right on the beach. We were able to see dolphins swimming past one morning. I would definitely rent this unit again.

May 2019Clean but not perfect. Cereal under the bed in the first bed room. This is our second year staying in this unit. Ground crew very nice when cleaning around parking lot. Told me they would be careful around motorcycle. Check in was quick. They call telling the unit was available early.

We loved the condo at Cape Coddages, unit 102, it was literally steps from the ocean. The balcony was so close you felt like you were still sitting on the beach. The location was convenient to get to Murrell's Inlet or MB within minutes. Rental was so easy, we arrived after the iTrip office was closed but were able to easily get our keys and info from the after hours box. Check out was easy too, as we just dropped our keys off in the key drop and left. The office was super close to the condo, which made it easy to check in and out. Would definitely recommend both iTrip and Cape Coddages.

We loved the condo at Cape Coddages, unit 102, it was literally steps from the ocean. The balcony was so close you felt like you were still sitting on the beach. The location was convenient to get to Murrell's Inlet or MB within minutes. Rental was so easy, we arrived after the iTrip office was closed but were able to easily get our keys and info from the after hours box. Check out was easy too, as we just dropped our keys off in the key drop and left. The office was super close to the condo, which made it easy to check in and out. Would definitely recommend both iTrip and Cape Coddages.
