Die herausragenden Merkmale dieser Wohnung sind eine große Terrasse (12 m²) mit herrlichem Blick auf die Bucht von Villefranche und eine hervorragende Lage in der Nähe des Sandstrandes, der Restaurants, Geschäfte und Busverbindungen. Das Ambiente dieses hübschen Ferienhauses ist hell und elegant. Hohe Decken, das Dekor der „Belle Époque“ und der Panoramablick auf die Bucht durch die schönen französischen Fenster, die auf die private Terrasse führen, die nicht überblickt wird. Die Lounge ist komfortabel mit Möbeln aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert eingerichtet und verfügt über eine neue Küchenausstattung. Das Schlafzimmer mit einem modernen Doppelbett und einem antiken Kleiderschrank bietet durch traditionelle französische Fenster, die auf die Terrasse führen, einen Blick über die Bucht. Jun 2017We very much enjoyed our stay in Villefranche. Our apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable, to go to the local market and cook, and go to the beach.
The beautiful apartment was nicely appointed and the location was perfect!

Oct 2017We stayed one week in this apartment in October 2017. It was fully equipped and totally adequate for our stay. The location was good. There is a bus stop just a minute away. Villefranche Sur Mer is built on a hill so any walk requires many up and down steps. We had a car which presented a problem with parking. There is a public parking lot very close, however, we found we were afraid to drive anywhere for fear of losing our parking spot. Plus the cost for a week was $50 but the week is Sunday to Sunday and we were there Thursday to Thursday so we had to pay double. The parking issue is certainly not the owner's problem, so my critique is for anyone who does plan to have a car. I would recommend trying to find a place that has parking available. Otherwise this would be a fine apartment.

Jun 2018We stayed at this lovely apartment for 8 nights. What a great stay! The location is perfect -- a quick 3 minute walk to the bus stop that will take you to Nice/Monaco or Cap Ferrat and about a 15 minute walk to the train. It is at the top of Villefranche so to get to restaurants you walk down the hill/stairs, but it's really not bad if you are reasonably in shape. There is a mini market, produce store, and a butcher all within a couple of blocks. The highlight of the apartment is the incredible balcony, where we ate breakfast every morning, some dinners at home in the evening, and every evening enjoyed some rose as we watched the boats come in and out of the harbor or watched the full moon rise over the Villa Ephrussi on Cap Ferrat. It was truly magical!
Nice amenities include the washing machine and the dishwasher. Kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, and utensils but lacked staples like salt and pepper. Unfortunately when we were there the grill outside was broken, which was a disappointment at first but turned out to not be a big deal at all as when you open the large french doors, you feel like you are outside all the time in this apartment. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was large with a great shower.
We loved our stay here, and Villefranche was the perfect base for exploring the French Riviera. We can't wait to come back!
A quick note on parking - we had a rental car for one night while we were staying here so we could visit St. Paul de Vence and Vence, and there is a pay garage 1/2 a block down the street. It was not cheap, but very convenient and worth it for one night to not have to try to drive around looking for parking. There was another smaller outdoor pay lot about a block or two before the apartment.

Jul 2018We recently completed our third stay in this apartment and it was great, as always. Our first time in the apartment was back in 2009 and it has not missed a beat. The location is fantastic for either enjoying Villefranhce or for exploring the surrounding area.

Oct 2017We keep returning to this lovely apartment in Villafranche. Fabulous views across to Cap Ferrat from the terrace. Handy for all amenities in town. Well equipped, spacious for two and a comfortable bed, what more could you want ?

May 2019This was our second stay in this apartment. Our first time was ten years ago as we celebrated our 30th anniversary. We met a wonderful couple in the apartment next door then, and we have continued to travel together over the years. We planned ahead for this trip (our 40th) and our friends were once again in the apartment next door. The trip down to the water and back is rigorous with many steps, but the views are spectacular and there are ways to get up and down with more gradual hills. There are many lovely restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, and there are 3 small groceries (casinos) close by.
Heidi was extremely helpful and responsive and made us feel at home. For a nominal cost, she arranged a taxi pickup at the airport which was well worth it. The owners of this apartment are also very pleasant to deal with in terms of bookings and payment.
We plan to be back next year since it has everything we needed to be comfortable and is well taken care of. It has a great shower and the appliances work well. We cooked breakfast most mornings and went out for lunch and dinner. It is a perfect, romantic place for a couple, although it does also have a hide-a-bed in the living room for one more, if needed.
We love this place since it exudes the charm and character of the old village! Highly recommended!

While very authentic, the apartment is very clean and modern with up-to-date appliances and facilities. The short walk into town is a timeless stroll through the culture of old France with a significant Italian influence (as you are just a few miles from the Italian border). The narrow streets are crowded with charming restaurants and shops, opening onto a breathtaking waterfront. And Villefranche is centrally located, just a short bus / train / taxi / Uber ride from Nice, Canne, Monaco, Eze and Cap Ferrat.

May 2018This a very comfortable apartment for two people in a great location just above the historic quarter of Villefranche. The nearby shopping area and bus stops are readily accessible along a fairly level road, and the picturesque old town with its harborside and many restaurants is directly down the hill. The private terrace has terrific views and faces the morning sun, providing a nice start to the day and avoiding the afternoon heat.
The bathroom, larger than many, has a nice roomy shower/tub and extremely generous storage space. The kitchen is well equipped. The living area is well furnished and comfortable with an attractive tiled floor. The only problem we encountered was a minor complication with the wifi, which Heidi handled promptly. We would definitely try to rent this apartment again.

Mar 2017The Furniture was most comfortable inside and out. The bathroom very modern but the dual headed shower a bit tricky to regulate. It was great to have a grill on the terrace which is like having an extra room in good weather. And the washer was very useful but a manual or guide would be helpful. Cautions would be that the armoire was not always easy to access or to close. The kitchen supplies were limited and quite basic. (no strainer or colander, lack of sharp knives and barely enough dishware to see two people through one day. We found the dishwasher noisy and inefficient so used it as a drying rack after hand washing the dishes. Plus one cannot use the stove/oven if the dishwasher below them is in use. But for the lovely views from each room, comfortable bed and furniture and the easy access to bus anywhere on the Riviera it is absolutely a great rental.

The large balcony was the perfect location for relaxing or dining. The apartment was quiet and in a great location. Also, Heidi was a delight and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again..

The shower was always warm and powerful enough, there was plenty of bedding and towels, and the equipment in the apartment ( microwave, BBQ, dishwasher etc) all made is easy and convenient to eat in, if you fancied, and gave the apartment a real ‘home from home feel’.The help and tips given by Heidi on arrival were really useful and we ate in several of the restaurants she recommended, all of which were delicious!! We also appreciated the assistance from local agents Claire and Heidi in lining up transportation and answering questions we had. They made us feel like valued guests at the apartment.

Sep 2016My husband and I used the apartment as a home base for a week, for exploring the region. Nice is only 20 min. away, and we had a cup of cappucino in Italy in a short day trip. The apartment is well equipped for all your needs. although we didn't cook much, the kitchen had the essentials. Everything was in good working order, kept clean, and the air-conditioning worked great (there is a unit in the bedroom as well as in the living room). We enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace, with its unbelievable view of the rooftops of Villefranche and the bay. Eamon's agent, Sue, met us on our arrival and oriented us to the apt and our location. She was also very responsive when the shower head broke off on day 2 -- it was replaced the same day! If you don't mind walking up and down hills, which is what's required to get to the beach or any eating establishment, the apt is a perfect location, perched up on the hill. And just a stone's throw from a cafe, bakery, green grocer, and butcher. Although we rented a car for this trip, I don't recommend it, since parking near the apt, or anywhere in the village is very scarce and hard to negotiate. Overall, we loved our time there and felt very at home in the apartment.

We stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks and it was great, need to be fit enough to walk up a few steps. the location is excellent. Villefranche is the perfect size village to enjoy the Riviera without all the hustle and bustle of the peak period tourist crush.
Handy to all facilities and services. highly recommend this property for a couple.

Jul 2018Everything is as described, with tasteful decor and lovely paintings. The patio is a wonderful place to relax with views both to the mountains and the sea. Easy walking down to shops and the old town.
We wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We had a perfect holiday in a beautiful location .
