Casa Il Gelso ist eine magische Kombination aus alten Dorf Charme, fantastische Umgebung und modernem Komfort. Es befindet sich in Borgo Mommialla, einem rekonstruierten Ruinen von antiken Dorfes.
Die Wohnung ist für 2-4 Personen besteht aus geräumigen Schlafzimmer mit Doppelsize-Bett, ein Wohnzimmer mit einem bequemen Sofa verwandelbar zum Doppelbett, zwei Badezimmer, voll ausgestattete separate Küche und Loggia. Schlafzimmer verfügt über einen separaten Ausgang zum Garten. Wunderbare Aussicht
Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Herzen der Toskana mit wunderbarem Blick auf Volterra, mitten in der Natur. Die Unterkunft im Borgio war klasse, die gesamte Anlage incl. dem Pool ist sauber und gepflegt, optimal zum Abschalten und Relaxen

Sehr gepflegte Anlage, mit traumhaftem Pool und voll ausgestatteter Wohnung
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief problemlos. Auf Fragen und Probleme wurde sofort reagiert. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und vermittelt dem Gast ein historisches Flair. Wir haben noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Wohnung vorgefunden. Und der Pool ist wunderbar gelegen und perfekt zum erfrischen. Mit und ohne Kind. Einzig die Lage: in the middle of nowhere... 20 Autominuten bis San Gimignano, 35 Minuten bis Volterra, 18 Minuten bis zum Supermarkt ...

Everything is excellent. We'd like to go back
We stayed in an apartment at the beginning of May. The house is very nice, cozy, comfortable. We are thrilled with Tuscan flavor of this place. Nature is amazing. Landscapes are magical. Pool is very attractive and it was a pity that the weather was not very warm for swimming. Everything is excellent. We'd like to go back there again next year. Lilia

We have just returned from a weeks stay and were both so impressed with the thought that had gone into the accommodation. It was a very hot week but the air conditioning throughout worked perfectly and was a real relief every time we returned after a trip out and made for comfortable sleeping conditions too. The bed was really comfy and insect nets at every window and on the bedroom door were also really useful. It was perfectly situated for day trips to Florence, Pisa and Siena. San Gimignano was absolutely gorgeous and only 15 minutes away meaning we could arrive early, find a parking space with ease and see it before the masses descended upon the town by late morning. Upon arrival we were met by Olga who gave us a quick tour. The whole place was spotless and well equipped. The swimming pool is like paradise and on the whole the other guests were all looking for a quiet and relaxing week too. There was a very friendly atmosphere around the place. The only possible downside at all was that other than to load and unload your car needed to be left at the car park at the top of the “village”. This made for a quiet and safe place but it should be noted that this was quite a steep slope on uneven and loose ground for anyone with any mobility issues, bad knees, hips etc. Both the owner, Konstantin, and Olga who met us upon arrival were friendly, helpful and quick to reply to any emails or texts. This really was a near perfect holiday in absolutely beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

Upon arriving to Momialla you find yourself immersed in a medieval Italian village among hills far from the daily hustle and bustle of the cities. We were greeted by I nice Italian host Roberto who showed us around and gave us some suggestions for dinner and travel. Our family was staying in 2 apartments : Il Gelso and Il Fico. Each of the apartments had their own compact fully equipped and very cute kitchen designed in a local village style, a bathroom, a bedroom, a living room with an additional sleeping place and the last but not the least an amazing terrace overlooking the hills and vineyards of Tuscany. The terrace was the place where the day began, sipping your morning coffee and eating figs that were just taken fresh from the tree (which happened to be just at our terrace) in preparation for the new day of adventure or just a calm day spent by the pool in the village. In Momialla we were able to enjoy both types of holidays. Being in the heart of Tuscany it took us 30 to 40 minutes by car to reach some of the small medieval cities such as San-Gimignano, Volterra and Siena and about an hour to more touristic cities as Florence and Pisa. Some of the lazy days we stayed in Mommialla walking around the forests and hills and enjoying the organic swimming pool. The swimming pool shouldnt go without a note. The swimming pool is nothing like I experienced before! The water is cool making it a great escape during hot days, it is also Chlorine free which didn’t dry my skin and which gives you a sensation of freshness. The whole experience is like bathing in spring water. It is also situated overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The whole time we have been there it was never crowded as the village has few apartments and there was always an available set of sunbeds to accommodate the whole of our family. As the village is small and the apartments are spread apart the place is also very quite and you barely meet anyone unless you go to the pool. To summarize it’s a great place for a holiday for any types of travellers: families with children ( we have a 4 year old child and he enjoyed it just as much as we did) romantic holidays or friends. I would recommend it to anyone and I would most certainly like to stay there again.
