Dec 2022What a fantastic vacation. Susan and Tiva were the perfect hosts. The condo is fully stocked with everything we could have needed. We cooked in most nights and had everything we needed. The views from the ocean front deck were unbelievable. Watching canoers in the morning to phenomenal sunsets in the evening were some of our favorites. The condo and grounds were clean and so inviting, can't wait to go back!! Thanks Susan and Tiva!!

Aug 2019We LOVED staying at Susan and Tiva's condo! It is beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated in a Hawaiian beach theme, and the location can't be beat. It is right on the beach and centrally located to many destinations on Maui. I could see the water and waves from any spot in the condo. All the little extra details in the condo ( working phone, night lights, flashlights, guide books, beach chairs, ice cube trays and ice maker on fridge, fully stocked kitchen, washer detergent and stain removers, etc.) all go a long way to making one feel comfortable and well-looked after. The condo is exactly as described. The local maintenance manager was easily accessible and the owners even reached out upon our arrival to ensure everything was in order and to our satisfaction! We stayed here one week and moved to another part of Maui for the second week. In hindsight, we wish we had stayed here the whole time! We would happily return one day if we are able to make the trip to Hawaii again from Toronto. Thank you, Susan and Tiva, for making us feel like welcomed guests in your home!

Apr 2019We loved our stay here, and our only complaint is that it wasn't for a longer period of time! This condo is perfectly located, well-stocked with any needs we had, and extremely comfortable. Nicely decorated, and the beds/bedding were so comfortable! Easy to get to from the airport. The shops across the street (ABC Store, Bakery, and Shave Ice) were so convenient and easy to enjoy. It was so fun to watch the Canoe Club members out on the water. Sea turtles off the nearby pier. Great area off Sugar Beach for long strolls and playtime for the kids. Lanai had wonderful views while enjoying a cup of coffee. From there, we spotted whales, dolphins, turtles, and we think reef sharks! After our short stay here, we headed to Lahaina to meet friends which required a larger home-base. We weren't ready to leave Kihei and would definitely consider staying here again. Susan and Tiva checked on us upon arrival, and everything was so smooth and so well-done. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The location on Maui was perfect for the things we had planned during our week on the island, though it was hard to peel ourselves away from the view from the lanai! The beach just outside was so nice for long walks, sunset, and swimming and even some snorkeling. We had fun watching the canoe club activities as well. If we ever return to Maui we would definitely want to stay here again.

Aug 2021We have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and I will say this is one of our favorites. the layout and furniture are really nice and comfortable. We felt at home instantly. Lots of extras in the kitchen too so before you go to the grocery store make sure to see what is already there. There were lots of snorkeling equip, beach chairs and boogie boards which were used a lot with our family. Owners were great to deal with as well. We had the best time and if we ever come back to Maui we will definitely be staying here. I had the best time blowing the conch horn at sunset...or at least trying to. =)Thanks for a great stay!!

Aug 2021We have stayed at VRBO properties for many years and this was one of the best. Great views, clean, updated, and well stocked. They already have beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and beach towels. My 2 teenagers, wife, and I had a great time here. You will too!

Aug 2019Unfortunately, the condo above this unit was undergoing an update. Lots of pounding, screwing, buzzing sounds from 9am to 5pm. Forget about sleeping in or taking a nap.
Other than that, we found this condo great.

Jan 2020This was our second stay in unit 310 and we hope not the last! Susan and Tiva's place is the cutest and the cleanest! It smelled SOOOOO good when we walked in! The decor is just perfect. Everything you could ever need or want is already there. The location is so convenient - with everything a close drive away. And having the ABC store and the farmers market across the street? Who can beat that!? We hope to be back again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Aug 2022This unit is in a good location for exploring the island. It is also close to all the restaurants in Kihei. The surf break is pretty strong on the beach outside the condo, so I wouldn’t say it is a swimming beach, at least not in July when we were there. The beds are comfortable and the AC worked great. The unit does not have a smart tv so you may want to bring your own streaming device.

Apr 2022This condo is the best in Kihei for our type of vacation. Location is perfect with the main junctions going to Lahaina or Kahului just a minute from the condo. The best part is having the farmers market and the Sugar beach Bakery + Ululani's shave ice right in front of the property! We made daily visits to these shops for fresh vegetables, fresh Malassadas and of course th best shave ice on the island. The condo is excellent and well stocked and maintained. We just had to bring our clothes and swimwear! Watching the sunsets from the balcony every evening was amazing. Being the corner unit, provides maximum privacy and more windows. Watching the canoes launch by the Maui Canoe club each morning was a treat. This will be our go to condo for any future visits! Mahalo to Susan and Tiva for sharing their beautiful condo.

The best part is having the farmers market and the Sugar beach Bakery + Ululani's shave ice right in front of the property! May 2022The lanai and master bedroom both overlook the ocean which made the stay very relaxing.
The location of the building, roughly equidistant from Lahaina, the airport, and Wailea made for a good base camp for travels. Prices at the ABC across the street are higher than at Target (10 min drive). Would recommend stocking up on toiletries (shampoo etc) at Target on your way in from the airport.
The second bedroom gives on the main road, which made for a somewhat less relaxing sleep for my daughters than mine (which was to the sound of the waves).
The hosts were very responsive on communications.

The condo was positioned well to enjoy the sunsets every day from the lanai and even go for morning and evening walks on the beach. The added benefit was the view of the canoe club that was just down the beach. Waking up and enjoying coffee and watching the canoe club launch became our morning ritual. The farmers market and bakery across the street were major bonuses, we could enjoy fresh fruit and baked goods everyday! We just wish we could have stayed longer!

We really enjoyed walking across the street for shaved ice! The condo was beautiful! I loved the decor! It was well stocked with everything to make a meal and it even included ice chests and boogie boards and had plenty of towels! Loved our stay! Thank you so much Susan and Tiva!

Easy access to all other areas of the island and a bonus with a farmers market, bakery, ABC store, and shaved ice shop across the street.
