The location was phenomenal. The Inn is at the bottom of the main "downtown" area for Newport, so we could just step outside and head north until we found something that piqued our interest. Plus, being right on top of the bar, it was easy to find any wayward group members when we needed to regroup: They were at the bar.
The Inn is located directly above a bar. There will be noise. The lighter sleepers in the group already brought ear plugs, but it'd probably be helpful for any but the heaviest sleepers. I did fine myself until Sunday night when there was karaoke night, which was manageable until the bar closed and a solid chunk simply took the party to the street outside. Not the Inn's fault, but it is something to be aware of.

Very good two bed apartment with excellent facilities.
A relatively small point but the quality of the bed sheets did not live up to the overall excellent quality of the apartment as a whole.
More important was the level of noise of the music in the pub downstairs which didn’t end until after midnight.

Perfectly located! Walking distance to many attractions including cliff walk, Bowen wharf, the mansions etc.
Only negative was the very loud people shouting at the bar closing. To be expected when renting above a pub

the apt was clean & comfy right on Thames St. comfy king beds and great kitchen and shower. plenty of room.
for a 1 night stay, the cleaning fee etc added $200 to the bill. not a problem if staying much longer.
the living room tv needs directions as we wasted time trying to figure it out with 2 remotes.

The appartment was clean, big and well located. It is beautiful and well equiped.
We hadn't realized the bedrooms would be on top of the bar, so the music was loud until it closed.

the bar closed at 1 am every day. thumping bass notes reverberated through the floorboards. after the bar closed the staff continued with the very loud music until 2:30 am. Not what I expect for a $650/night room

very clean and spacious. The kitchen was huge. loved the theme of the room. great vibe.
probably like everything else in Newport parking is tight. Extra car 25 bucks, more than fair.

They accommodated our group as best as possible with early check-in and extra parking spot for a friend!
Lisa, one of their receptionist, was SO rude. Her tone, demeanor, was off putting to myself and both of my friends that called in looking for help with our reservation. We all agreed, she is shouldn't be in hospitality with that attitude and treatment towards guests.

An email was sent with the codes and somehow I missed it. When I called, the young lady on phone was extremely helpful and sent me the email again. We stayed in the Jazz room and we just loved the apartment decor! The Instruments on the walls was a great look. A fun atmosphere! It was supplied with everything we needed for coffee in the morning. (although i brought my preferred favorite) It is over a Pub but that didn't bother me. Couldn't hear much at all. My cousin could hear people outside after the bar closed but they didn't linger too long. Pillows were a little soft but that's just me!
I rented a 2 bedroom apartment and it only came with one parking spot but we had 4 adults traveling separately. We were charged an additional $45 for our 2 night stay. Other than that no dislikes!

The location and decor were very good. The Staff in the Irish American Inn were very helpful and pleasant.
The host was remote. We had a problem with connecting to and retaining the Internet which was not solved by the time we left. When the power went off in a thunder storm and the roof leaked the host remained remote.

Location was great and a parking spot was provided. Beds were very comfortable. The staff in the pub downstairs were very friendly and helpful! We were in the ‘jazz room’ and it was decorated nicely.
The noise coming from the pub below is loud and lasted until about 2 am each night. We used a white noise app on our phones to block it out. The washing machine didn’t work; as a family of 6 on a road trip from across the country this was a bummer. The bartenders downstairs were really great and offered to let us use their dryer though.

Property was a good value for a family. In the old part of town. Full kitchen allowed for the option of cooking your own meals, especially Breakfast. Some pots & pans are present and service for 6. Nice decor. Had a washer and dryer in the suite which was very convenient. Keurig on site with K-cups for coffee.
The property is directly above a Bar. The music reverberated through the entire property making it difficult to sleep or talk especially between 10pm - 1am. Although it is in the old part of town, it is a mile from the “main” tourist area. Parking lot is very small lot used by more than just guests at the property. Difficult to get in and out of as people would park along the back of the building behind the marked parking spaces.

Very clean and nice, enormous confy beds, kitchen with everything that you would need in it. Impressive jazzy decor and overall nice atmosphere.
Be prepared not to sleep at all. With the pub downstairs, right under the bedrooms, and people drinking and screaming on the sidewalk right under the windows... maybe after 3am you can get some sleep. No sound proofing, we could hear even their phone notifications. Thank god we stayed just one night.

We enjoyed our stay at the inn. The room was beautiful and clean with modern decor. Lots of restaurants and shopping on your way as you walk toward downtown Newport. Located on the corner of Narragansett Ave. and Thames, it’s an easy ride to the Cliff Walk and Easton beach, with a cliff walk entry point at the end of Narragansett. Sharon, the hostess was super friendly and helpful.

I loved how close it was to everything and the apartment was super clean. The beds were so comfortable too. I will be back.
