Zozo Hostel

The hostel is located in a private building slightly removed from the city centre. The property features a courtyard and a separate entrance. The ground floor has a shared kitchen, a guest common area, and bathroom facilities (two WCs, each with a shower and sink), while the sleeping area is upstairs, in the attic. The whole thing is finished in wood, which I personally really liked. The entire facility is extremely clean! It is definitely not a party hostel; rather, it is a good, peaceful, and quiet option for spending a day or a few days during your travels through Transylvania. The location, while not in the city centre (about a 30–35-minute walk), is quite convenient if you value proximity to the train and bus stations, as well as the A1 bus stop serving the airport. It happens very rarely, but at this particular hostel, we take off our shoes at the entrance and wear slippers (if you don't have your own, the property provides disposable hotel slippers.), which further enhances the cosy atmosphere. There is no permanent reception desk here, but all the necessary check-in information, as well as practical tips about the place, will be provided to you via WhatsApp or Booking Messenger. A pretty decent individual breakfast: tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, cheese, salami and ham (really high quality), muesli ingredients, butter, cocoa spread, nut spread, and confiture + capsule coffee/tea/milk. It’s a filling meal! Spotlessly clean and fresh-smelling bed linen; a large towel is included. Efficiently functioning Wi-Fi.

I stayed at the hostel in September, during a spell of cooler, rainy weather; it was warm in the attic, and I could crack the window open for some fresh air. However, I imagine it might get a bit stuffy on hot days (though there is air conditioning). Although the hostel isn't large, during peak season you might have to wait your turn for the bathroom—there are only two of them. Watch out on the stairs—they're tricky.

Great facilities and lovely staff. Staff allowed me to keep my bags at the property instead of in luggage storage. Gorgeous garden for wholesome mornings. Frequent busses to town and to the bus station. Great breakfast

Only two bathrooms however I did not encounter an issue with this

It was very pretty and I actually really liked the layout of the beds in the dorm room.
