I love hotels with quirkiness and personality, and this one did not disappoint! The room was totally and utterly over-the-top wtih decor - brilliant.
The room was spacious and comfortable. I would stay their again.
Only minor gripe is there was that there was no wi-fi in the room

Big and comfortable rooms. Exceptional design. Quiet surrounding. Very clean.
Only one toilet.
Keys to be collected far away.

Showers and kitchen were very clean. I liked the room theme
Room was not very clean, stains on bedding and floor. There was a strong damp/dirty smell in the room when I arrived that was still there when I left.
I was sent a message to check in at a Cafe, but the cafe was closed. Some of the messages I was sent were conflicting and confusing. The lady on the Phone was very helpful. Finding the hostel was very challenging. I am English but speak a passable amount of German, I doubt a non German speaker would be able to get to the Hostel.

"The only proper adjective I could ever think of to describe my stay here is “fantastic”: Lalelu is more of an exhibition of aesthetics and great taste than a mere residence. The interior impressed me ..."
