PEST-BUDA Design Hotel

The location was fantastic for exploring Buda, being beside the Fisherman's Bastion and the Castle area. Pest was also just a half hour walk, downhill, over the wonderful Chain Bridge. The hotel was really charming with lots of character. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was lovely, and had everything we needed. The aircon was great and much used! As a family, we were given 2 adjacent rooms, which was fantastic. Most of the staff were friendly, and all were very professional, and offered great service, especially Daniel. We ordered our airport taxis through the hotel, and this also went very well.

The only downside was that the open shower area offered no privacy at all, and this was particularly unhelpful for our teenage son and daughter, who were sharing a twin room. We had to schedule shower times, which was a little awkward. Breakfast on the first day was not great as our hot food was cold. However, we had 2 further breakfasts which were great, so I think the first one was a randomly bad day.

Beautiful stay and location. Staff is top notch! I have travelled to Budapest 3 times since 2023 for personal reasons and have stayed a night or two there each time.

Nothing negative to say

Amazing location very close to major historic sites. Very nice staff.

The bed could have been softer.

Breakfast was poor.. Only one option allowed off the menu with one glass of juice and one coffee Would not return for this reason

Breakfast.
