Everything about this hotel was exceptional. From the location to the staff to the rooms to the pool to the beautiful views and to the restaurant, there was absolutely nothing that could have been better than it was.

Hotel Angela is in the hills overlooking Taormina. The views are spectacular, especially at night. It was very hot in August, but at the hotel there was a lovely breeze. So much to like here: Staff - so welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast is unbelievable- huge array of different foods, all delicious. Shuttle - they have a shuttle which will take you, six minutes, to the main road of Taormina. Restaurant - WOW!! Matteo looked after us like family. Chef Roberto - best pasta carbonara and best mussels I’ve ever had. Every dish was awesome. EAT HERE!!

I have loved everything about this place! The staff is very welcoming and helpful (and can speak English if you need it). I got upgraded to a wonderful room with 3 beds, 2 bathrooms and a jacuzzi - all to myself! Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is great, with options to please all palates, including some wonderful Sicilian food. The hotel is not easily reachable by foot from the city center, but there are shuttles coming and going all the time which you can reserve in advance. There are also many tours to book to visit beautiful Taormina all around. Additionally, if you want to just relax, there is a beautiful pool and a restaurant open throughout the day. And in case that isn't enough, you also have amazing views of Taormina and Etna from every corner of the hotel. I couldn't recommend this place enough!
