Family Hotel at Renaissance Square

Excellent location, quiet but close to all sites, the Old town and transport links. Great check in experience by friendly and helpful owner. Delightfully quirky room decor, which I liked a lot, great shower and a very nice breakfast.

The only thing I'd have liked was coffee and tea in the room (boiling water was always available) and a more comfy mattress. But overall I really enjoyed my stay. And I loved Plovdiv.

Wonderful smaller establishment, lots of historic character yet all modern conveniences worked. Excellent breakfasts that varied day to day. Dimitri quitevpersonable , very helpful.

What a wonderful place! It has everything you could want for a vacation stay. The building is beautiful and has clearly been renovated with a lot of care. I stayed in the Green Room, which I absolutely loved. It was beautifully decorated in the Bulgarian Revival style, and everything was spotless and very clean. The location is fantastic, right in the Old Town and within easy walking distance of Plovdiv’s main square. The owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They also serve a lovely homemade breakfast every morning and were kind enough to keep my luggage for me until I had to catch my train. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back!

Honestly, I can’t think of anything I would change. Everything was wonderful!

The location was fabulous. Mine host was very helpful and his son was delightful.

We had a ‘room with a garden view’. The view was of a very small courtyard with a couple of plant pots. “Garden view’ was something of a misnomer. The towels were horrid….small and useless. I wouldn’t have given those to anybody.
