Hotel Jezero - Plitvice Lakes National Park

Excellent location with easy accesss to Plitvice park

Medium facilities with minimal staff assistance

The hotel is well situated for going to the park. It is a little dated, but ok. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The breakfast could have been better.

Location & Parking: Located right in front of Entrance 2 of Plitvice Lakes National Park, making it super convenient to park and walk straight into the park. Even with just a 1-night stay, you can leave your car parked at the hotel for the entire 2-day hiking period. 1-Day Pass Extension Tip: The website mentions a "Buy 1-Day Ticket, Get 1 Day Free Extension" promotion for a limited period. I inquired in advance but didn't receive a response, so I bought a 2-day ticket. However, at check-in, they automatically stamped my ticket for a free 1-day extension! If you plan to visit, buying just a 1-day pass is enough since they extend it to 2 days for free. Breakfast Packed Lunch Service: Since we planned to hike early the next morning and head to Zagreb right after, we asked the front desk for a "Lunch bag" option. If you request it at reception before 8:00 PM the night before, they pack a boxed meal for you. It comes in a paper bag filled with sandwich ingredients, fruit, and desserts, which was extremely useful while traveling.

We booked the cheapest attic-type room, but the ceiling was so low that it almost touched our heads, and it was a basic room without even a mini-fridge. Additionally, the bathroom drainage was quite poor, so the water didn't drain well.

Location is great

This is an old out dated property. Not a comfortable place. Glad we were there for just one night. Won’t go back.
