Location. The reception staff were really great. Cafe next door conveniently situated.
I stayed on the first floor and it was noisy. I could hear the cheering for the live sport that was being watch d by patrons, I could hear the person in the room on my right, the glass bottles being emptied well after midnight and the (bar) chairs being pushed back or breakfast set up (again after midnight).

The room was clean and the location was excellent, right in the city centre. There’s also a store just a three-minute walk away. The soundproof windows were very effective, which we especially appreciated as we stayed during the medieval festival. Despite all the activity outside, the room was nice and quiet.

Location
Not cozy at all! Not even shampoo in the bathroom. 😢

The staff was very helpful.
Come to this hotel was like entering a hotel from 1968. I have been traveling to Spain for over 50 years, and this hotel was like going into a Time Machine. I haven’t stayed in a hotel in Spain that had stood still like this one. Even the stool was something designed out of the middle ages.
