Santé SPA Hotel

It is one of the best hotels in Bulgaria. The service is good, the spa is nice, the food in the restaurant is exceptional. Welcome and farewell gifts made very sweet impression.

However, as we are talking about 5star experience, there are some minor things to be fixed. 1. It would be nice if the hotel team replied to messages and requests made on booking 2. The cleanig service in 5 star places is usualy invisible, here it should be better organized, so that guests do not bump into cleaning carts in the corridors 3. It is nice that there is a pool area, where kids under 14 are not welcome (after all adults want to relax in a spa) however there should be some control in place, otherwise a nice idea remains an idea.

Friendly staff, great buffet, the pastry shop is nice too. The SPA area is well-kept, has 3 different kinds of saunas, a steam bath, and a salt room. The masseurs are worth the money.

The a-la-carte Restaurant Vitus was closed the few times we tried to visit - and on the day it did work, it only had a generic lunch menu. Not expected of a 5-star restaurant, or at least it should be, according to the Ministry of Travel. No bath in the room - even though one was listed in the property description.

There was a good variety of foods, the staff were really kind to us, the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean (which is very important to us)

There was what looked like a bit of mold in the ceiling of the bathroom, but it didn’t bother us.

- The room amenities - Cleanliness - Friendly staff - Restaurant and Vienna Saloon

- Cold room - There was no central heating while it was 7 degrees outside at night and 19 in the room which is unacceptable when you are on a spa. The AC was set and locked to cooling mode only. We complained on the reception and they gave us fan heater on the next night. Unfortunately, our baby got cold and sick during the stay. - Not relaxing - the main spa area is like open office with luminescent lighting which is the opposite of relaxing atmosphere
