St945 Palas Otel

Our room was very clean with good amenities, and the staff were nice. The location of the hotel itself was the only real downside - the neighborhood was not very tourist friendly; it was dirty and we felt unwelcome in some areas close to the hotel. The hotel itself felt very safe, but this wouldn't be a place I would recommend to people hoping to just walk out the door and hit the town like others we've stayed in.

Was like excepted

The location of the hotel is very good. The host is very friendly and helpful. I would gladly book the hotel again when I visit the city of Izmir.

The hotel is newish and very clean. My room was spacious and had a little fridge. Linen and towels were new and smelled fresh. Furniture was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I did however suggest you do not book the economy room on the ground floor as the noise is a challenge. There is a machine outside the room that makes noise during the day and night. You cannot sleep in either as the noise from staff and visitors wakes you up very early. The rooms are not noise insulated. The hotel is ideally located for access to local services but if you are a woman travelling alone it’s not too safe late at night and better to use taxis. But overall this hotel is highly recommended and very good value for money.
