Hotel Teatro Boutique Old Town - Destigo Hotels

Location brilliant. Decor and theme fantastic. Bed very comfy. Great shower. Staff super pleasant and helpful.

We stayed three times at the hotel over 3 weeks and the hotel failed to fix air conditioning which meant the rooms were exceptionally hot and stuffy. The last room had opening windows which was great for airflow but because facing Novy Swiat the noise was too much. Either air or quiet: that’s not a reasonable thing to have to choose.

Location- supermarket next door - walkable - approx 20 mins to train and to old town

The hotel is at an excellent location from a perspective that its really in the center - close to the old town, near a metro stop and close to shopping area and lot of restaurants.

If your room looks at the main road and especially in the evening on the weekend its very noisy and the windows are not soundproof. The bed was a little too hard for my taste and the duvet and the pillows where thin and cheap but clean. The room was clean in general, though there was some mould in the bathroom. The fridge in the cupboard didn't had much venting which made the entire cupboard very hot. The safe was above the fridge and was so hot that I did not feel comfortable to store my laptop/iPad in there. The TV had some kind a of child lock on for multiple channels (normal TV channels), and the reception was not able to figure out how to unlock it. During the night every time someone left their room, the doors do not close quietly to say the least. I believe those are not a representation of a 4 star hotel but a 3 at best. Its a shame as the hotel has an excellent location and a nice charm, funky interior.
