The staff was so kind and so gracious to us. The rooms were lovely and likely the best view in Nafplion. You could walk everywhere. We had four rooms and 2 babies with us and they accomodated everything. Thank you!

The Amphytrion Hotel has one of the best locations in Nafplio. The views are absolutely extraordinary, and being so close to everything made it a wonderful base for exploring the city. The staff were exceptional—friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help with any request, which made our stay much more enjoyable.
That said, the hotel itself is showing its age and could benefit from significant updates. Our room was not very well maintained, with old fixtures that are in need of replacement. We were also disappointed that there was no reliable Wi-Fi during our stay. The television offered only German channels and a single Greek channel, leaving very limited entertainment options.
The pool area also appeared to need better maintenance, as it did not seem particularly clean.
Overall, if you’re looking for breathtaking views and an outstanding location, this hotel certainly delivers. However, if modern amenities and well-maintained accommodations are important to you, be aware that the property could use substantial renovations. With some investment and updates, this hotel could truly match the incredible setting it enjoys.
