Amphitheater Cave Houses

Excellent stay and owner / staff. We were met at our private transfer drop-off point by staff who carried our luggage (a considerable distance) to the hotel. If you haven’t stayed in Santorini before, most of the hotels with the caldera view aren’t directly accessible by car and it is nice to have this service. We arrived early before check-in and baggage storage was provided. Check-in was smooth and provided by the gracious property owner. Room was well-furnished and comfortable with an outstanding caldera view. You can pay more for the same view at another property (which I’ve done twice previously), but you won’t find better value-for-money. Just to give you an idea of the service level, I texted the owner to ask for an iron and ironing board. Within 2 minutes, he was knocking on the door to deliver them. You won’t find that level of service in a larger property.. Check-out was equally smooth with porter service again provided to our pick-up point. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an amazing place, with very kind and hard working people. The staff helped with bags and other issues, and cleaned our room well. We really couldnt ask for more. They made our stay fantastic. And the view cant be beat. This may not be for those with mobility issues (lots of stairs), but our family had a wonderful time and we highly recommend it.

We had an incredible stay at Amphitheater! The concierge (Minas) was very helpful with a smooth check in process and communicated well using WhatsApp throughout our stay. He arranged rides for us, made a restaurant reservation, and booked an amazing sunset cruise for us. The view of Fira and the caldera from our balcony was stunning. Mrs. Tamara cleaned our room each day and Miri was wonderful to carry our bags from the road to the hotel. We definitely recommend Amphitheater for a memorable vacation to Santorini!

We had a wonderful stay. Owner Minas arranged a pick up at the ferry for us and check in was great; our room was ready early. We found the WhatsApp communication with Minas very convenient. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from Miri who carried our bags to Mrs.Tamara who kept our room wonderfully clean. It felt like a home away from home. 5 stars. There are lots of stairs so this place wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues but that goes for most of the restaurants and hotels in Fira anyway. Thank you for a great stay. We hope to be back sometime soon.
