Known throughout the world as the city built on water, given its construction on 100 islands in the lagoon, Venice is one of Italy's most popular locations worldwide.
It is a real open-air museum, thanks to its historical and artistic heritage made of churches, palaces, and museums.
Strolling through Venice is like diving in the past: the so-called calli (streets) are dotted and framed by aristocratic buildings such as the Doge's Palace, the historic home of the Doges, spectacular bridges including the famous Rio Alto Bridge, and canals navigable by gondolas, waterbuses, and boats of all kinds.
The heart of the city is the enchanting St. Mark's Square, which houses the Basilica of the same name and welcomes thousands of tourists from all over the world every day.
The most famous local event is definitely the Carnival, thanks to its centuries-old tradition of masks and costumes that enliven the streets every year.
Last but not least, the famous "Bàcaro Tour" is a must: a tour among taverns to taste local wine, cicheti, and typical Venetian tasty bites.
The accommodation is approximately 1.3 km from the Venice Santa Lucia train station.

Large property spread out over 5 levels very conveniently located in Venice. Spacious bedrooms and living areas. One bathroom is a little small, but nice to have two separate if you have a bigger group.

Location was great. This was a nice apartment. There were a few minor maintenance items that keep it from being excellent. Good value for the money.
Stairs to the upper floor & kitchen could be a problem for someone with mobility issues.

Overall this property was very good. The location was great and the rooms were clean. I only gave it 4 stars because the bedroom on the second floor has a very low ceiling that made it difficult to move around in for adults - it would be fine for children under 5'8". Additionally, the second bedroom and both bathrooms are on the 5th floor which means climbing a lot of stairs.

The apartment was clean, showers were hot, location was good, and communication was great. However, I gave a lower rating because the property had no bathroom on any of the lower floors, climbing stairs with luggage and just to get to the bathrooms was rough. Add to that the beds were so uncomfortable. I could feels the springs. Swapping out the mattresses with some memory foam beds would have earned them 3.5 stars. A bathroom on a lower floor would earn a solid 4.
