The house (built in 1792) is a listed building, we have only modernised it carefully and with respect for the old structure. The pine-panelled living room is heated from the kitchen by an old Engadine stove. A small wooden staircase leads to the bedrooms above. The historic kitchen with its stone floor and granite sink has been fitted with modern appliances, but has not been structurally altered.
