A freeride trail makes its way from the middle station along a 700 metre long steep route towards Rivera. The downhill trail starting at Alpe Forra and running to the middle station was originally created for the Mountain Bike World Championships in 2003. You can also practise your skills in an on-site bike park. Excursion options: A romantic footpath leads from Casenzano through a deciduous forest along the stream to the lake in just 12 minutes. The botanical garden in Vairano San Nazzaro is known far beyond the country's borders for its wealth of magnolias and camellias.
