Grand Hotel Times Sherbrooke

Central to almost everything. Seems like a 20 minute walk. Staff was very courteous and alway willing to help. Breakfast in the morning was definitely worth it.

There was nothing to not like.

Beautiful surroundings and good setup. The 2-room appartement we rented was a great space for our family and had a wonderful view.

There was a very strong smell in our room - probably from the cleaning products but it unfortunately made me really nauseous.

The pool is small and inconveniently located (you have to walk through the lobby, no robes provided). The lounge area is staffed by the same single person staffing the front desk, my family had to wait quite a while (multiple other guests came, waited, and left) until there were no guests at the front desk to be served (the area is also very strongly perfumed, limiting our lounging. They charge for parking anywhere on premise (not just the garage), I understand it’s necessary in larger urban areas, but there’s ample parking space in Sherbrooke, this feels egregious. We were charged an additional $85 over our booking fee when we arrived, I know $28 was for parking, but the rest wasn’t explained at check-in and overall increased our room price significantly. I would not have booked it had I known.
