The Westin Copley Place, Boston

Location and staff

Very good location near the library and American ancestors. Great view from the 35th floor. Close to star market

There was no free breakfast.

Beds were extremely comfortable but very high up. Cleaned the room every day. A lot of lifts so very quick. Marriott scheme giving free daily spend in the bar, restaurant or shop and 2 free tickets to the Holy Trinity Church and Boston View were a lovely surprise when you are a member. Conveniently located to T for Underground, Boston Common, Hop on Hop Off tour or Duck Tour. Local food shop The Star Market was great for snacks and drinks if needed for day excursions.

They take payment without taxes at check in and then take balance on check out. We paid for 3 people in our room but only receive 2 tickets for visits instead of the amount of people in the room

Excellent Location, friendly manager

Despite the fact that I visit this hotel often, I think this will be the last time. The services were unacceptable, and the room was old and not particularly nice. There was no courtesy anywhere. Too many employees in this hotel, they did not speak English well and communication with them was difficult. The employees in the parking lot were unacceptable. I had to wait a full 25 minutes for my car to be brought to me, while other cars that had applied much later than me came much faster. The reason was obvious: the employees needed money to do their job quickly. When I complained to the hotel manager, everything fell into place, since he was forced by my intense complaints to go down to the entrance and investigate the matter. I thank him very much, he was the only polite and available to serve. Also, it is very rare and difficult for the reception to answer and especially the dine in service. One night, after calling the reception and dine in service for more 45 minutes, and no one answered, I was forced to go downstairs myself to order food in the room... This has never happened to me before, in any hotel in the entire world!! Not polite employees, no one smiling to the customers. Uncomfortable beds, which had become hollow from too much use, causing you to wake up with back pain This hotel needs a lot of work.
