I would definitely give The Duck Inn a 5+! We had a wonderful stay with you and I appreciate the small details that made our stay even nicer; real glasses in the bathrooms, nice wine glasses available, real plates and coffee mugs to use, the nicest set out continental breakfast with quality items and waking up to the sound of a crackling log fireplace in the lobby. Nice, comfy beds and a fireplace in the room made our stay complete. A very nice stay, thank you! Already told two other friends who plan on staying with you in the future.
Ziltch!

Room was comfortable and views of the river were very pretty
The oversize bath tub was great
Fireplace in the room was also great and warmed up the room very quickly but you can't control the temperature , its either on or off
TV was very small
The Lodge is ready for an re-do. Everything is dated and worn.
Carpets are worn and don't appear clean
Lighting in the corridors and bathrooms is very basic and not particularly welcoming.
The neighbor across the river has string lights along the roof line that shine all night and even with the blinds in the room closed, the light still came in, which was irritating when trying ti sleep.

Quiet location off of the main road. Easy entry using a key pad no hassling with a check-in. Nice layout for breakfast.
