A very peaceful, clean , compact apartment in old town. It was very convenient for getting around on foot, as the town is pedestrian only. We did not have a car, but do feel it maybe a little more difficult to use one, as of the driving restrictions in the area. Enjoyed exploring the stores and cafes along the water, took a tour of the city….very beautiful city. Also, took a few tours to explore more of Slovenia…recommend checking out the caves and Lake Bled. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Perfect location - quiet and close to everything Hosts were great showing us around the apartment. Having laundry access was a big plus. Dining suggestions from the host were a big help and all were fantastic.

The kind attention to our comfort by Barrio Alto owners is noted and we are grateful. The centrality to the concentric circles (5 minutes,10 minutes, and 15 minutes) made deciding what to visit easy to plan and easy to walk to and back again. An excellent experience of beauty and a generous people. We hope to return.
