We had the most wonderful holiday in Desenzano and this beautiful apartment. Giovanna was so kind and thoughtful, sending us recommendations to make the most of our week - she really made our holiday special. Neighbour Luca was also available if we had any problems - we didn’t! The apartment was spotless, and the kitchen was the best equipped in any holiday home we have stayed in - great if you like to cook! The air con was a godsend in the heat. The pool is brilliant - great for kids and adults alike, and well kept and clean, even a lifeguard during holiday periods. It is no problem to walk to the centre of lovely Desenzano, with the ferries, restaurants and nightlife. The train station is a short walk away also, with direct links to Venice and other cities. This is a great town to base whilst exploring the lake and nearby cities. We highly recommend this beautiful home, and this beautiful town for its ease of connections to other Lake Garda towns. We can’t wait to return and make more lovely memories!

Wonderful. Gio is the most amazing host. Such a lovely lady. She met us at the train station and gave us a lift and followed that up with a lift to the supermarket as well. Her home is fantastic and has everything you need. The beds are so comfortable and it is nice and spacious. WiFi is great with teens. Pool is also great - 2.3m deep in the big bit. I used Gios washing machine a fair bit which is very helpful too. It's only 10 minutes walk ( and flat) to the train station and you can get buses from there too ( the Sirmione bus is 26. - opposite side of the road to the train station) if you want to go into Desenzano for town or for ferry it is about 20 minutes walk. It is a substantial hill so you need to brace yourself on the way back for the last bit! We enjoyed taking different routes every time and checking out all the architecture. Overall I am so pleased I found Gios house and I totally recommend it.

We had a wonderful holiday at Lake Garda. It is so beautiful with lovely trips on the lake and walking round the area. The apartment suited us very well. It is very clean and well cared for and definitely the best equipped home we have stayed in which helped to make the holiday stress free. The only thing to be aware of is that it is hilly - the walk back up from a meal out was fine for us but something to be aware of if you’re holidaying without a car.

This is a fantastic apartment full of Italian charm and never before have we had such a warm welcome from a host. The apartment is extremely comfortable, fully equippped, very clean and was really spacious for the two of us. The swimming pool is fantastic and was an added bonus - it is immaculately clean and was never busy during our stay. Perfect for a quick dip or relaxing in the sun on the private sun beds.The owner, Giovanna, is absolutely lovely and couldnt do enough to help us. She helped with directions to the apartment, looking out for us on arrival and was full of useful information about the area and provided lots of great recommendations. We had regular contact with Giovanna throughout our stay and she took a genuine interest in what we were up to. Some supplies were also provided including coffee and prosecco which were much appreciated!The apartment is in a great location, the train station is 5 mins walk and the town centre is a 15 mins walk. Desenzano itself is a fabulous buzzing town and great for people watching. We found lots of lovely restaurants and bars, our favourite being the Il Tagliere wine bar and Corte Pozzi restaurant, both part of Hotel Alessi. We visited the many beautiful towns round the lake and also took the fast train to Venice. Verona is also a short drive away and the open air opera was an amazing experience.Overall this is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in, we loved it from the moment we stepped in the front door. It felt like a second home and we were genuinely sad to leave. We will definitely be back and couldnt recommend it highly enough!
